The Bar Council of India has declared the AIBE 20 results on January 7, 2026. With the results out, around 1,74,386 candidates are eagerly waiting for their AIBE 20 Certificate of Practice. The AIBE CoP certifies that an applicant has successfully cleared the mandatory All India Bar Examination and is eligible to practice law in India. The previous year's trends suggest that the AIBE 20 certificate will be released within the next 1- 2 months. Candidates can collect their AIBE 20 Certificate of Practice from their respective State Bar Council.
Candidates are enrolled with their respective State Bar Councils in order to receive the AIBE CoP. Recently, the BCI notified an update regarding the AIBE enrolment certificate and rechecking of results. Here, if any candidates’ results have been withheld and have qualified under the undertaking category are required to upload their Enrollment Certificate within the prescribed time period. Candidates can upload their enrollment certificates through the portal on the official website.

Monitor the dispatch status | Track the issuance and dispatch status on the AIBE website or through the AIBESCOPE app. |
Contact State Bar Council | If the status shows that certificates have been dispatched, reach out to your respective State Bar Council or check their official website for AIBE CoP collection details. |
Submit application (if required) | Certain SBCs require candidates to submit a formal application for cthe ollection of the AIBE CoP. |
Document verification | SBC will verify the documents you submitted, along with the AIBE 20 result copy and the enrolment certificate |
Collect CoP | After successful verification, candidates will be issued the physical copy of the AIBE 20 Certificate of Practice. |
Though it is a rare occurrence, in this case, candidates must immediately reach out to aibe.helpdesk@gmail.com along with a copy of their enrolment certificate and submit the incorrect original CoP along with a written application at the AIBE helpdesk, BCI Delhi. It takes around 1-2 months for verification and issuance of the revised AIBE Certificate of Practice to the respective State Bar Council.
