NLU Jodhpur is a part of the Consortium of NLUs and is one of the participating universities. Hence, it conducts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam for admission along with 23 other national law universities. These scores are accepted for admissions at the undergraduate and as well as postgraduate levels.
The tuition fee charged at NLU Jodhpur for the BA LLB course is notified every year. The tuition fee increases by Rs 5000 every year. The annual fee structure for NRI-sponsored candidates in 2026 is Rs 12,00,000, and the refundable security fee is Rs 17000.

The candidates seeking admission into the BA LLB and LLM programmes need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as follows:
To get into NLU Jodhpur for a BA LLB programme, the candidate must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% of marks and in the case of SC/ST persons with disability, it is 40% of marks.
To get into NLU Jodhpur for an LLM programme, the candidates must have completed their LLB or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST Person with Disability).
The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT exams for all the law programmes on December 7, 2025.
Then the candidates who have fulfilled the above academic criteria need to apply for the CLAT exams and the fee for General/OBC/EWS candidates is Rs 4000.
The entrance fee for SC/ST category candidates is Rs 3500.
The university will notify the counselling process of the candidates who cleared the CLAT exams.
The selected candidates will be informed through registered email ID and then the sets will be allotted based on their preference.

The NLU Jodhpur campus is spread over 55 acres with 24 x 7 internet connectivity provided for the comfort of a world-class educational experience. The infrastructure at NLU Jodhpur offers excellent library facilities and has law-related literature. The campus excels in Administrative Block, Library Block, Halls of Residence, Auditorium, Amphitheatre, and many other facilities. The facilities of the moot court are also available to students that resemble the ambience of an actual courtroom.
Out of the total of 196 seats at NLU Jodhpur, 164 are regular seats, 16 are for NRI/NRI-sponsored candidates. Another 16 are supernumerary seats for EWS applicants. The BA LLB course offers 130 seats and the remaining 66 seats are for the BBA LLB programme.
