Q. How did you feel when you saw your rank? Did you expect this rank?
A. Honestly, I was expecting a good rank. But, I did not expect that I would be one of the State Toppers’.
Q. Can you briefly tell us about your educational and family background?
A. I’ve previously studied in Faust High School and St. Ann’s High School (ISC), and the teachers there have contributed a lot in my overall development. Thanks to their advice and support, I stand here today. Speaking of that, my family has also immensely supported and guided me. My father, also my inspiration, is an advocate practising in the High Court of Telangana. My mother is a professor who specializes in teaching finance subjects. My elder sister, also one of the toppers of TS LAWCET 2021, is currently pursuing her law degree.
Q. What made you choose to pursue law?
A. Being an advocate was always one of the options I had in my mind, because as a child, I had seen my father work for people. But, when I realized the importance of this profession, I made up my mind that I’m going to pursue law.
Q. Can you shed light on your section-wise preparation strategy for the TS LAWCET 2024 exam?
A. Preparing for entrance exams requires a systematic and organized approach. I allocated sufficient time to study as well as revise topics from each section. Writing down key points, using mnemonics to remember, and going through questions from the previous papers to know the possible kinds of questions asked were some of the strategies that I followed to crack this exam.
Q. Which colleges are you targeting for admission?
A. Osmania University has given many eminent Judges to the Hon’ble Courts. It is considered one of the top institutions to graduate from, and I am aiming for the same.
Q. Did you appear for any other law entrance exams? If yes, how was your performance and which colleges are you targeting?
A. I have appeared for CLAT 2024 previously, and I did get a good rank. However, I intended to pursue a law degree from Osmania University.
Q. What are your future plans?
A. I plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in law and serve our nation as a diligent and a capable advocate.
Q. What advice would you like to give to law aspirants preparing for TS LAWCET?
A. All I would like to say is that don’t pressurize yourself while preparing for any entrance exam. Just work hard and be honest to yourself. Maintaining an organized routine will definitely help.
