The allotment of seats in colleges is conducted based on merit cum preference. The counselling process requires the candidates to exercise a web option — meaning, shortlisting colleges in the order of preference. Now, based on these two parameters — LAWCET rank and preference order, the council prepares merit lists for each participating TS LAWCET law college. Once the allotment is announced, candidates have the option to accept the seat, apply for the second round or exit the process. In the case of seat acceptance, the candidates have to pay the college fee and report for further verification.

Hey Khursheed:)
Thanks for reaching out!
With a 189 rank in TS LAWCET under BC-E your chances depends on the course .For the 3-year LLB at Osmaina University, the round 1 cutoff was around 210,so your rank is well within range and you still stand a good chance of getting a seat in the next rounds if not allotted. But for 5-year LLB course, the cut-off was around 100, which means 189 is outside the limit and Osmania is not within reach.
Keep Osmaina on top of your web options for the 3-year program in phase-2,but also select other good colleges as backups so you don't miss out on admission.

Best of luck!
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out!
First of all, congrats on scoring 721 rank in TS LAWCET for 5-Year Law Program. That’s a good rank, especially considering that you belong to the EWS category, which has a separate reservation quota.
Admission to Kakatiya University or its affiliated colleges will depend on category-wise cutoff, seat availability, and college preferences during counselling.
In previous years, candidates with ranks around 700–1000 in EWS have gotten admission into affiliated law colleges of Kakatiya University, though main campus seats are more competitive.
If you don’t get the main campus, go for a good affiliated law college under KU.
All the best!

With a TS LAWCET Rank of 222 in the BCE category, your chances of getting a free seat in the 5- year LLB at Osmania University are low
•The expected BCE cut-off for 5-year LLB at OU is around rank 100 or below, and your rank goes beyond that
Good Opportunity:
•However, for the 3-year LLB at OU,The BCE cut-off is around 280,so you do have a good chance there for 3 year course.
•You can also try for other government colleges like Kakatiya University or PG College of Law where BC-E cutoff are closer to your rank.
So, while your chances for the 5-year LLB program at OU are low,you have a good chance of getting into 3-year LLB there.

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out!
If you want to join Osmania University for the 5-year law course after 12th through TS LAWCET,under the BC-D category a good score would be in the range of 80-90 out of 120 .though you could get admission with around 70-75 but 80+ is safer for a better rank.
Usually top 200-500 gives you a good chance at Osmaina, one of the top law college in Telengana.
