What is LLB?

LLB is a three-year undergraduate degree in the specialization of law. The LLB degree is meant to give students a deep understanding of law concepts like Contract Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Property Law, Corporate Law, and Constitutional Law. Only institutions and universities recognised by the Bar Council of India can grant LLB degrees to students. A LLB degree prepares students for the role of lawyers and solicitors.   • CUET Law: The Common Universities Entrance Test LLB exam is accepted by various top law colleges in India for admissions in LLB courses. DU LLB admissions, BHU LLB admissions and admissions of many other top-ranked universities is done through the CUET Law exam. The CUET Law exam is conducted in online mode once every year for admissions to various participating universities.
  • SLS-AIAT - The Symbiosis Law School All India Admission Test is conducted once every year for admission to 3-year LLB courses at different Symbiosis Law Schools - SLS Pune, SLS Nagpur, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Noida. The SLS AIAT exam is conducted in online mode. Apart from the entrance test, a personal interaction round is also conducted for admissions.
  • MH CET 3-year LLB: The State CET Cell, Maharashtra conducts the MH CET 3-year LLB exams for admissions to law colleges in the state of Maharashtra. There are around 16,240 seats available for admissions in 3-year LLB course through this exam. Top law colleges in Maharashtra like Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai, Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai, Rizvi Law College, Mumbai, The University of Mumbai Law Academy etc accept admissions on the basis of MH CET 3-year LLB scores.
  • AP LAWCET: The Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test is conducted once every year for admissions to 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is conducted online and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes. The questions in AP LAWCET are asked from subjects like GK and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the study of law.
  • TS LAWCET: The Telangana State Council for Higher Education conducts the TS LAWCET exam every year for admission to law courses in the state of Telangana. The TS LAWCET exam is conducted online in computer-based test mode at various exam centres across the state and neigbouring states. There are around 3597 seats available for admission in 3-year LLB participating colleges accepting TS LAWCET scores.
