With determined self studies and time management, Mopuru Haripriya held the Rank 1 with an overall score of 101 marks out of 120. Mopuru Haripriya who has a technical background, provides the credit of her success to mock tests and previous year question papers. Careers360 got in touch with Mopuru Haripriya to learn more about her AP LAWCET preparation strategies, recommended books, study hours and related details.
AP LAWCET exam was conducted on September 22. Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati declared the result of AP PGLCET 2021 on October 21, 2021.
Question 1: Congratulations on your success. How did you celebrate after knowing about your result?
Mopuru Haripriya: Thank you very much Mahima. After going through the AP LAWCET answer Key released, I expected a rank below 10 but not 1 st rank. It was unexpected. I felt very happy and shared happy moments with my family and friends.
Question 2: What is your AP LAWCET score and rank?
Mopuru Haripriya: My Score is 101 out of 120 marks and got 1st rank in AP LAWCET.
Question 3: What are your college and course preferences through AP LAWCET?
Mopuru Haripriya: I have not yet decided about that. Just gave the AP LAWCET entrance test.
Question 4: Tell us about your preparation strategy for the examination. How much time do you think is enough for AP LAWCET preparation?
Mopuru Haripriya: I have prepared for six to seven months which I think is sufficient to score good marks. The main strategy is to solve previous/mock question papers (as many as possible). I have tried to solve previous papers of CLAT, AP LAWCET, TS LAWCET and other State LAWCET exams also. I mainly concentrated on following the current affairs and GK in various informative YouTube channels.
Question 5: What was your study plan? How many hours of study is required for AP LAWCET.
Mopuru Haripriya: As I am an employee, I have studied during evenings/nights only (3-4 hours a day). In the weekends, I devote a full day (10-12 Hours).
Question 6: Which study materials did you refer to while preparing for AP LAWCET exam?
Mopuru Haripriya: My study material was LAWCET and Current affairs books published by Vijetha Competitions, Hyderabad. I followed All India Radio news regularly. I browsed about ten websites and informative YouTube channels.
Question 7: Did you solve sample papers and take mock tests? If yes, then what role did the mock tests/sample papers play in your preparation?
Mopuru Haripriya: I purchased solved CLAT questions & answers book from Amazon Kindle and also solved previous question papers/mock tests from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana LAWCET question papers and answered polity, Current affairs & GK questions from websites like eenadu, Sakshi, Jagran Josh etc
Question 8: Did you appear in any other law entrance exams? If yes, how was your performance in those examinations?
Mopuru Haripriya: No, I didn’t appear in any other law entrance exams.
Question 9: What legal specialization do you want to pursue in future? Tell us why you want to pursue a particular specialization
Mopuru Haripriya: I want to do legal specialization in Patent Laws as engineers are qualified for this course. I have applied PG Diploma Course in IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) through the distance education program offered by IGNOU. I will do the course as soon as I got NOC (No Objection Certificate) from my employer (AP Transco).
As I come from a technical and science background, my past knowledge might help me in these particular specializations.
Question 10: Any tips for students who are preparing for state-level law entrance exams such as AP LAWCET?
Mopuru Haripriya: I would suggest the students to keep in mind the following while preparing for the exams-
Plan well ahead at least one year before
Do as many as possible previous/mock test papers
Solve previous papers of CLAT, LAWCET for 3 years and 5 years.
Attempt previous papers of PG LAWCET
Attempt Polity, GK & CA questions meant for UPSC & other recruitment tests.
Read Constitution of India thoroughly up to Chapter VI (up to 150 Articles including Preamble)
Make a note of your own for quick revision.

yes, you can apply for AP LAWCET if you meet the domicile requirements of Andhra Pradesh. since you completed your studies in AP, you may qualify as a local candidate. however, check the official eligibility criteria for confirmation.

As per the notification released, the cut off of AP LAWCET 2024 entrance exam set for the general category is 35% (42 out of 120). However, there are no criteria regarding minimum qualifying marks if you are from SC and ST categories. As per the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2024 eligibility criteria for the 5-year LLB programme, candidates must have passed their Class 12 exam in a (10+2) pattern with a minimum of 45% marks. Any student who has completed their graduation (10+2+3) from a recognized College/University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General Category, 43% marks in aggregate for OBC Category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category can apply for LLB programme

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, the exam conducting authority will declare the AP LAWCET 2022 result tentatively in last week of July 2022. Candidates will be able to download AP LAWCET result 2022 in online mode at the official website of APSCHE - sche.ap.gov.in.
