The Supreme Court will hear the CLAT 2025 result petition filed by candidate Aditya Singh on February 3, 2025 for mistakes in the CLAT 2025 answer key. While expectations are running high that the CLAT 2025 Supreme Court Hearing will provide a closure to the CLAT 2025 case, the controversies surrounding the Common Law Admission Test may take some more time to settle. In this article, let’s look at what the SC is likely to decide and whether the CLAT 2025 results will be revised.

The CLAT SC hearing on Feb 3 is the second hearing to be conducted following the first one conducted on January 15. The SC has indicated that it will transfer all the pending cases relating to CLAT 2025 to a single HC. Various options were put forward before the court such as the Bombay HC, Karnataka HC, Punjab and Haryana HC, and the Delhi HC. However, the frontrunner among them appears to be Punjab and Haryana HC.
In the Feb 3 hearing on CLAT, the SC will decide the name of the HC to which the cases will be transferred. The decision to transfer the cases to a single HC is being taken with the intention to expedite the cases.
Court name | Case details | Petition filed by |
---|---|---|
Delhi HC | Mistakes in CLAT UG answer key | Aditya Singh |
Bombay HC | Mistakes in CLAT PG answer key and exorbitant cost to raise objections | Anam Khan |
Madhya Pradesh HC | Mistakes in CLAT PG answer key and high cost to raise objections | Ayush Agarwal |
The Delhi HC verdict passed on December 24 has already directed the Consortium of NLUs to publish the revised result of CLAT UG 2025 after two objections in the CLAT 2025 answer key were found to be correct. The Consortium of NLUs has challenged the revision, while the candidate, Aditya Singh wants further revision in the results.
The Supreme Court is unlikely to decide on revising the CLAT result on Feb 3. However, the matter will come up again when the designated HC will take up the case. If the Delhi HC verdict is upheld, then the consortium will be required to publish the updated CLAT 2025 results and resume the CLAT 2025 counselling process, which has been put on hold due tot the ongoing cases.
