In the CLAT 2025 Supreme Court hearing on February 6, 2025 all the cases of the CLAT UG have been transferred to the Delhi High Court. The SC was hearing the Consortium of NLU’s petition to transfer the cases to a single HC to avoid contradictory judgements that can further delay the release of the revised CLAT 2025 results. The next CLAT 2025 hearing will be conducted in the Delhi HC on March 3, 2025.
The SC order was passed by a bench comprising of Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna and Justices PV Sanjay Kumar and KV Viswanathan. The order passed reads as under:
“List before Delhi High Court on March 3. Within 7 days of this order registrar of each High Court should send the papers (of the concerned case pending before them) to the Delhi High Court.”
After the SC order on February 6, the focus now shifts back to the Delhi High Court where all the cases and hearing about CLAT UG 2025 will be taken up. The next CLAT 2025 HC hearing is scheduled on March 3, 2025.
All the pending cases of CLAT UG 2025 in various courts at Delhi, Rajasthan, and Punjab and Haryana High Courts will be handled by the Delhi HC alone.
