SLAT Merit List 2024 (OUT) - Second Merit List Out

SLS Hyderabad has published the third SLAT 2024 merit list on July 3, 2024. Candidates can check the SLAT merit list from the official website set2024.ishinfosys.com/SETPIRESULTY24/ using their SET Law ID and password. The direct link to check the merit list is also given below. The allotted candidates are required to complete the admission within the prescribed deadline. The Symbiosis Law Schools have published the first and second SLAT 2024 merit list in online mode for admission into their 5-year LLB programmes. The Symbiois Law Schools published the SLAT 2024 PI shortlist and conducted the SLAT PI process. The SLAT 2024 counselling schedule has also been published separately by each SLS on its official website.

Candidates who make it to the Symbiosis Law School merit list 2024 will be required to appear for document verification and pay the required fees to complete the admission process. The choice filling for the desired Symbiosis Law School had to be done during the SLAT application 2024 process.

The SLAT 2024 merit list is prepared after taking into account the composite scores of the candidate in SLAT 2024 as well as PI. The Written Ability Test (WAT) has been removed from the SLAT selection process this year. SLAT 2024 was conducted in two phases on May 5 and May 11 in online mode. The four Symbiosis Law Schools namely SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur have published the SLAT merit list in online mode. Candidates have to opt for the desired campus and programme by paying the required fees at the time of filling up the SLAT application 2024. Only those candidates who paid the fees for a particular campus will be considered for the selection process in that campus. The dates for each of the four SLSes are given below.

How to check the SLAT Merit List?

The Symbiosis Law School merit list 2024 has been published online for each of the four campuses on the official website of that campus. The process to check the merit list for SLAT 2024 has been given below:

• Visit the official website of desired Symbiosis Law School

• Click on the link SLAT 2024 merit list

• SET login portal will be displayed on the screen

• Next, sign in using your login ID and password

• Now, click on the merit list link

• Download the pdf and save the list for reference.

How is the SLAT Merit List 2024 Prepared?

The SLAT selection process is a two-stage activity to admit candidates into the five year integrated law programmes at the participating SLS. Candidates are shortlisted based on their scores in the Symbiosis Law Admission Test. Such candidates are required to attend an online Personal Interaction(PI) as part of the SLAT counselling process. Given below is the process of how the SLAT 2024 merit list is prepared:

• First step is to appear in SLAT which is held in online mode.

• After declaration of the SLAT 2024 result, the institutes will prepare an SLS PI shortlist.

• The candidate then has to participate in an online personal interaction (PI) for which they have book slots and also upload the required documents.

• Candidate’s performance in the test and PI is assessed and a cumulative score is arrived at.

• Each of the two activities - SLAT exam and PI carries a different weight in the selection process.

• SLAT scores are scaled to 70 marks and assigned a weight of 70%.

• PI is for 30 marks and is assigned 30% weightage.

SLAT Merit List 2024 - Personal Interaction

The PI is conducted in online mode after the candidate has booked a particular slot and uploaded the required documents. This step tests the candidate’s personality, suitability for a career in law, basic legal knowledge, and communication skills. PI carries a weightage of 30% in the SLAT selection process.

What After the SLAT Merit List 2024?

Candidates who find a place in the SLAT merit list 2024 will be required to pay admission fees and complete document verification as part of the admission process. Candidates must report to the admissions office at Symbiosis Law School and pay the semester fee. They are also required to carry the required documents in original and a set of photocopies. The original documents will be returned to them after verification. The classes would commence on the specified date after completion of the admission process.
