Generally, some people can study more than 10 hours a day, but some of us fatigue out just after studying 7-8 hours. Good study material would help give the candidate confidence, and save on time. Just imagine a situation where you are following a book that demands too much effort and also turns out to be not so reliable in the middle of exam preparation. So, you need to get the book combination right.
Solve sample papers
Most toppers recommend that the student makes AIL LET sample papers a part of their preparation strategy from the start. It is because there is no alternative to solving sample questions to understand the underlying concepts and honing problem solving skills than by solving sample papers. Sample papers would also help the candidate gauge their progress and where they are lacking. Time management skills can also be worked upon by solving sample papers.
Take mock tests
If you haven’t started taking AIL LET mock tests yet, do it now. It will help you get a taste of how it would feel like on exam day, as mock tests generally are designed to give you an exam day ambience. You will learn navigation, how to answer and mark questions, and get a general overview of the exam.
Top spend prodigious time of a difficult problem or topic
This is probably the most important point of the lot, as you need to be smart with your time management. So, don’t waste too much time on difficult topics or problems which carry little weightage. Or else you will miss out on scoring topics, as you will run out of time.
