PGCIL will recruit the officer trainee (Law) through CLAT 2025 PG. The PGCIL law officer recruitment application will be released on November 7. The PGCIL law recruitment application will be released on its official website - powergrid.in. The scores of CLAT-PG will carry a weightage of 85%. The group discussion and personal interview will weigh 3% and 12% respectively.

The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has prescribed the minimum eligibility criteria for applying to law officer recruitment through CLAT 2025. Candidates need to write the CLAT 2025 examination and CLAT 2024 results are not valid. Below are mentioned the essential eligibility criteria for Powergrid clat 2025.
Candidates applying for PGCIL law officer trainee recruitment through CLAT 2025 need to complete three three-year LLB or five years integrated LLB courses with not less than 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
Candidates applying for the role of law officer trainee recruitment through CLAT 2025 cannot exceed the age of 28 years as of the last date of submission of the online application.
The application form for PGCIL recruitment through CLAT 2025 will be released on November 7, 2024. Interested candidates need to fill out the application form by November 27, 2024. Follow the instructions given below to fill out the PGCIL recruitment application form:
Visit the official website - powergrid.in
Go to the careers section > Job Opportunities > Openings > Openings and then “Recruitment of Officer Trainee (Law) through CLAT 2025”.
Enter details including CLAT 2024 registration and roll number, name, parents name, correspondence address, and contact details.
Fill in the qualifications and experience details.
Recent passport-size color photograph (in white background)
Signature in Blue/Black ink
Date of Birth Proof: Matric / Birth Certificate
Qualification Certificate (Degree) along with Mark Sheets of all years/semesters from recognised institutions.
Candidates working in Govt. / PSU is required to apply through the proper channel and needs to upload a “No-Objection Certificate” from the present employer/Undertaking.
Caste Certificate/EWS Certificate in the prescribed Govt. of India (if applicable)
Note: All these documents and images need to be submitted in a certain size and format prescribed by Powergrid CLAT 2025.
Candidates finally need to proceed to the fee payment page by logging into the account using their Login ID and Password.
Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/e-Wallet are accepted as a method of payment.
Eventually application process will be considered complete after the completion of the fee payment process.
The payment of the application fee can be made when the interested candidate has fulfilled the eligibility criteria. The application fee is non-refundable.

Candidates will be shortlisted for PGCIL recruitment through CLAT 2025 based on their actual marks in CLAT PG 2025.
Shortlisted candidates will go through document verification and Behavioral Assessment.
Candidates then need to appear in the group discussion, personal interview, and pre-medical examination.
Candidates must ensure that they meet POWERGRID’s health standards before applying. The details of health standards are available on its official website- www.powergrid.in.
The qualifying marks in the interview are 40% in the case of unreserved category candidates and 30% for OBC/PwD candidates.
The final marks for shortlisting will be calculated based on the candidate's overall performance.

For CLAT PG 2026, if you aim for top NLUs like NALSAR, NLSIU and WBNUJS, a score of around 75+ marks (rank within 100 ) is generally good for the general category
Cut-offs change every year, so try to score as high as possible for a better chance.

For the best academic value and recognition choose NMIMS, or the Nirma University is also good. The DNLU is newer and can be considered as well but if we choose any one, then it is NMIMS.
