Indian Law Institute, Delhi (ILI Delhi) prescribes the ILI LLM entrance syllabus 2024 in its admission prospectus. The syllabus for the ILI LLM Entrance exam consists of an objective type section as well as a subjective type section. ILI Delhi will conduct the ILI CAT 2024, also known as the ILI All India Admission Test, tentatively in May 2024.
Candidates aspiring to gain admission into the one-year LLM programme of ILI Delhi should keep themselves updated with ILI LLM 2024 entrance syllabus and prepare accordingly. The syllabus for ILI LLM entrance exam 2024 can be accessed from the institute’s official website - ili.ac.in. In addition to appearing for ILI Common Admission Test 2024 and the subjective paper, there will be a viva voce that will be conducted for shortlisted candidates for admission into LLM programme of the institute.
The syllabus of the ILI LLM entrance exam has been designed to test the candidate’s research aptitude, legal reasoning, comprehension and basic knowledge about different areas of law.
The syllabus of ILI LLM CAT 2024 is divided into three parts, two of which are objective type and one is subjective type. ILI All India Law Admission Test will be held for two and half hours. The medium of the question paper would be English.
The institute will conduct the ILI CAT 2024 for LLM either in online or offline mode. It will notify the candidates adequately beforehand. If the exam is held in offline mode, then it will be conducted at ILI New Delhi only.
Candidates who are shortlisted in the exam will be required to attend a viva voce.The viva voce will be conducted in offline mode at the institute.

Other than going through the syllabus of ILI CAT 2024, candidates must also go through ILI LLM entrance exam previous year question papers. Candidates can get the previous year question papers of the All India Admission Test for LLM for the last three years from the office of the institute on payment of Rs. 500. The payment can be made either in cash or through DD in favour of Indian Law Institute payable at New Delhi.
Candidates can also obtain the question papers by registered post or courier by making a payment of Rs. 600 through DD in favour of Indian Law Institute payable at New Delhi.
