Answer: I am currently in the third year, pursuing BA LLB Hons. at SRM University, Sonepat.
Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Answer: Personally, I didn't face any difficulty, as the admission department was very cooperative and helped me out of the way if I had any issues in the university. For this, I would like to thank Manoj Kutty Sir who was the Deputy Director at that time and is currently the Director of Admission & Outreach, as well as Vikas Bajaj Sir from the same office.
Careers360:What activities are provided at the institute? Are there clubs available for different extracurricular activities? Are you currently involved in any of these clubs?
Answer: Well, there are many clubs in the university, I was a part of Debating Society which is also called (MERAKI) where I was actively involved in competition and currently, I am a core member of the Moot Court Committee, Legal Aid Society & NCC.
Careers360: Describe a typical day at SRM University- what are the activities you do from the moment you wake up until bedtime?
Answer: I live in the southwest part of Delhi, so it takes me around 1:10 hours to reach SRM University. The first problem upon reaching the university is finding parking space, as we don’t have Parking space in university. Following the commencement of classes, I attend lectures until around 4:30 p.m If we have any meeting of the Committee during university hours we attend it. I try to leave SRM university immediately after the classes get over as I have to travel a bit longer. After reaching home I prioritise completing any assignments, maintaining a habit of timely task completion to avoid backlog. By 10pm, I try to sleep.
Careers360: What is the faculty-student ratio at SRM University, and how would you describe the teacher-student relationship based on your understanding?
Answer: As a law student, our department recently shifted to a new building where the classrooms are more spacious compared to our previous location. In our class of 50 students, there is a ratio of 70:30 between male and female students respectively. The faculty-to-student ratio I believe would be 30:1. The Faculty are very strict and cooperative at the same time. They have immense knowledge about the subject.

Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?
Answer: We have a hospital in the campus and the fee charged is Rs. 10. It is a charitable hospital not only for students but also for the local population.I recall a situation where a hostel resident encountered a health issue and was admitted to the hospital. So not only the warden who is also a professor at the university but the department staff also went to the hospital.
