TS PGLCET 2017– Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) conducted TS PGLCET 2017 on May 27, 2017 between 2.30 pm and 4 pm. Candidates seeking admissions to postgraduate law courses in the state law colleges of Telangana can do so by qualifying in TS PGLCET. 13 law colleges offering 580 LLM seats are expected to participate in the Telangana Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test admission process. TS PGLCET was held in offline mode, as per the instructions of Kakatiya University and in compliance of all the rules and regulations of TSCHE and the relevant Government orders in place. Simply appearing for TS LAWCET 2017 will not guarantee admissions to candidates. TS PGLCET Fact!
Till 2014, admissions to post graduate law colleges of Andhra Pradesh used to take place through a single entrance examination called PGLCET. Since the formation of Telangana however, the PGLCET was also split state-wise: TS PGLCET and AP PGLCET. The centre for the last unified PGLCET exam was Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in 2014. TS PGLCET exam has been conducted by the Kakatiya University, Warangal since then.

TS PGLCET 2017 Answer Keys will be released in provisional and final versions. The provisional TS PGLCET Answer Key will be released online on May 30, three days after TS PGLCET is held on May 27. The final answer key of TS PGLCET 2017 will be released on June 10 along with the TS PGLCET Result. The Answer Keys for TS PGLCET will be useful for candidates to cross-check their answers and estimate their final scores. If candidates see any discrepancies in the provisional answer key of TS PGLCET 2017, they will be allowed to file their objections until June 2 and the final answer key of TS PGLCET will be released after these objections have been taken into account.
Kakatiya University will announce the Result of TS PGLCET 2017 on June 10. Candidates will be able to see their final scores through the TS PGLCET Result and estimate their rank in the merit list. TS PGLCET Result 2017 will be based on the number of right answers that candidates give out of the 120 questions that will be asked in the test. They will also be able to see which were their right answers as the final TS PGLCET Answer Key will be released along with the TS PGLCET 2017 Result.
TS PGLCET 2017 Rank Card will be released by Kakatiya University online one week after TS PGLCET 2017 Result is declared. To download the TS PGLCET 2017 Rank Card, candidates will have to visit the official TS PGLCET link given here and enter their TS PGLCET Hall Ticket number. TS PGLCET Rank Card will show the candidates their final rank as well as their section wise scores in TS PGLCET. Candidates will have to get a minimum of 25% of answers correct out of the 120 questions that are asked in TS PGLCET to be eligible for the TS PGLCET 2017 Rank Card.
Counselling for TS PGLCET 2017 will be organized by Kakatiya University in the first week of November. Candidates who have successfully obtained a rank in TS PGLCET 2017 will be eligible for the TS PGLCET Counselling. Candidates will have to report to their respective TS PGLCET Counselling Centres as allotted on the basis of ranks within the given dates. They will also have to present a list of official documents for verification and xerox copies of the same for submission. Candidates should ensure they submit only the correct information at the time of TS PGLCET Counselling process as it will be used for their seat verification. The web exercising options of TS PGLCET Counselling will allow candidates to choose their preferred colleges and courses online. Telangana Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test eligibility criteria stipulates the conditions that LLM candidates applying for TS PGLCET need to fulfill in order to appear for the exam and be considered for admissions. The eligibility criteria for TS PGLCET 2017 specifies the minimum educational qualifications candidates will need to possess to apply for admissions to post graduate law colleges of Telangana. Application forms for TS PGLCET 2017 was released by Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE from March 18 onwards until April 21 (changed from April 18). Candidates should ensure that they have with them the required details for filling the TS PGLCET Application Form 2017. Only the correct information should be entered while filling the application form of TS PGLCET otherwise the candidates may not be allowed to appear for the exam. Documents that will be required by candidates when filling the TS PGLCET Application Form in online mode includes scanned copies of their signature and photograph. The exam pattern for TS PGLCET 2017 will be set by Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE. Candidates appearing for admissions to postgraduate law courses of Telangana should be familiar with the syllabus and exam pattern of TS PGLCET 2017. There will be 120 one mark questions asked in TS PGLCET 2017, with no negative marking. The exam will be set in English language only. The Admit Card/Hall Ticket for TS PGLCET 2017 has been issued by Kakatiya University in online mode from May 19, two days later than the originally scheduled date of May 17. TS PGLCET Admit Cards contain the information relevant to the candidate for TS PGLCET 2017 and are based on the candidate’s TS PGLCET 2017 application Form. The TS PGLCET Admit Card will be the candidate’s hall ticket for TS PGLCET and is an extremely important document. The LLM candidates can download their 2017 TS PGLCET Admit Cards by entering their TS PGLCET application/registration number and their date of birth. Candidates will be able to see their TS PGLCET roll number, exam centre and time of exam in the TS PGLCET Admit Card and are compulsorily required to carry it with them when appearing for TS PGLCET 2017.
Exam Centres for TS PGLCET 2017 will be displayed to candidates when filling the TS PGLCET Application Form. Candidates can select their preferred centre from the given options. TS PGLCET 2017 will have 3 exam centres across Telangana. Candidates cannot change their TS PGLCET exam centre after they have opted for it. If there are less than 100 candidates opting for a particular centre however, the TS PGLCET Convener has the right to cancel it.
