The Delhi HC will hear the CLAT PG 2025 cases on May 2, 2025. The cases in CLAT PG 2025 will be heard by a Division Bench comprising of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela. A total of three petitions relating to the CLAT PG exam are pending for hearing. Earlier, the CLAT PG hearing scheduled on April 21 could not take place. Instead the HC postponed the PG hearing and gave the next upcoming date. In this article, get all the details you need to know about the pending petitions in CLAT PG and what's next for candidates.
The Division Bench has already delivered the CLAT UG judgement on April 23 and ordered the Consortium of NLUs to declare the revised CLAT 2025 result after changing answers to 4 questions. The Consortium of NLUs has accepted the judgement and will start the CLAT 2025 counselling process anytime soon.
Three cases have been listed for hearing in the CLAT 2025 May 2 HC Hearing. The details are given below.
Sl. no | Parties | Case No. |
1 | Anam Khan Vs Consortium of NLUs | W.P.(C) 2364/2025 with LPA 1251/2024 LPA 1250/2024 |
2 | Nitika Vs Consortium of NLUs | W.P.(C) 2558 /2025 |
3 | Ayush Agrawal Vs Consortium of NLUs | W.P.(C) 2560/2025 with LPA 1251/2025 LPA 1250/2024 |
The CLAT PG 2025 cases relate to mistakes in the CLAT PG answer key which has led to inaccuracies in the preparation of the CLAT PG result 2025. Further the petitions also object to the high cost of raising objections which at present is Rs 1000 per objection.
The CLAT PG 2025 cases have been transferred to the Delhi HC following a SC order. Earlier the cases were pending at the Bombay HC, Madhya Pradesh HC and Punjab & Haryana High Court.
The Consortium of NLUs is expected to accept the Delhi HC verdict that will be passed in the CLAT PG hearing on May 2. Earlier, the Executive Committee unanimously accepted the Delhi HC verdict passed for the UG hearings on April 23. Once the CLAT PG hearing on May 2 concludes, the Consortium will start the CLAT PG counselling process soon in the interest of the students and conclude the CLAT admission process in time.
The Consortium is expected to start the CLAT PG counselling process in the second week of May 2025. Usually, the counselling process ends in May and the classes at NLUs commence in July 2025. Candidates may be required to complete counselling registrations again and file fresh NLU preferences as per the revised result.
