About the Seminar

Amrita International School of Law is organising a two-day national seminar titled “Indian Constitution: New Dimensions and Challenges” to mark Constitution Day (26th November). The event celebrates 75+ years of the Indian Constitution as the bedrock of democracy, social justice, and fundamental rights. It will explore how the Constitution adapts to modern challenges like technology, globalisation, environment, and socio-political changes while upholding justice, liberty, equality, fraternity, and unity in diversity. The seminar brings together jurists, scholars, policymakers, and practitioners for meaningful discussions.

Objectives of the National Seminar

The National Seminar wants to show that the Indian Constitution is still strong and can adapt to new challenges even after 75 years. It will discuss important modern issues like technology rules, data privacy, artificial intelligence, globalisation, environment protection, centre-state relations, social equity, and gender justice.

The seminar brings together teachers, lawyers, judges, and policy makers to share ideas and connect book knowledge with real-life work. Its main goals are to teach more people about the Constitution, support good research, and make democracy stronger. This matches Amrita International School of Law’s dream to train honest and socially responsible law leaders.
