CLAT PG 2026 Allotment List: The Consortium of National Law Universities will publish the CLAT PG 2026 seat allotment for each round of counselling on its official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates must register themselves for CLAT PG counselling 2026 to participate in the counselling process. The CLAT PG 2026 counselling will tentatively start in the third week of December 2025. Shortlisted candidates are required to accept the seat and pay the confirmation fee before the specified date to obtain their seat allotment. The university fee must also be paid to confirm seat allotment. The CLAT 2026 allotment list will include details such as All India rank, admit card number, vertical and horizontal reservation category, and admission status. There will be five CLAT PG allotment list 2026 published from time to time during counselling. The CLAT PG allotment list can be checked through the CLAT candidate login.

The CLAT LLM allotment list will be prepared as per the candidate’s score in CLAT 2026 and the NLU preferences submitted by the candidate. Candidates have to clear the CLAT cut-off 2026 for a particular NLU to obtain seat allotment. The total seats in CLAT 2026 are 1599 for LLM including NRI and supernumerary seats for other categories.

Candidates will be allotted seats based on the NLU preferences entered by them in the counselling registration rounds. Candidates will be required to enter their CLAT PG NLU preferences based on their choice of preferred NLUs. Candidates can enter as many CLAT NLU preferences as they wish. Candidates must consider factors like their state domicile NLU, top-ranked NLUs while entering their preferences. The step by step process to enter NLU preferences has been given below:

Access the CLAT candidate login and enter your mobile number and password.
From the dashboard, click on the update preferences button.
Select the NLUs in the order of preference
The publication of the first allotment list in CLAT PG has been delayed. Candidates can check the CLAT PG first allotment list through the official website of CLAT - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT PG allotment list for the first round will comprise the names of the candidates who have been selected for admission in the first round of counselling. The CLAT allotment list will be published for each category in online mode.
The CLAT PG counselling 2026 will be conducted online in five rounds. As the results are declared, the consortium published a detailed counselling notification which includes the important dates, documents, steps to participate and more. The CLAT PG counselling will commence with the counselling registration. Candidates are required to complete their CLAT 2026 counselling registration to participate in the seat allotment rounds.

For CLAT PG 2026, if you aim for top NLUs like NALSAR, NLSIU and WBNUJS, a score of around 75+ marks (rank within 100 ) is generally good for the general category
Cut-offs change every year, so try to score as high as possible for a better chance.

For the best academic value and recognition choose NMIMS, or the Nirma University is also good. The DNLU is newer and can be considered as well but if we choose any one, then it is NMIMS.
