CLAT PG merit list 2025: The Consortium of National Law Universities will publish the first CLAT PG 2025 merit list on December 26, 2024 on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The candidates included in the merit list of CLAT PG 2025 have to complete admission formalities to gain CLAT PG 2025 seat allotment. The consortium will publish the merit list of CLAT PG 2025 merit list for each round of CLAT PG 2025 counselling. It had notified the CLAT 2025 counselling schedule for five rounds on its official website and registrations closed on December 20. The CLAT PG 2025 merit list includes details such as All India rank, admit card number, and reservation category of the candidate. The merit list of CLAT PG 2025 will be prepared separately for each participating NLU. Through the Common Law Admission Test - PG, candidates will be admitted into the LLM programme of participating CLAT NLUs and affiliated colleges. Earlier, CLAT PG 2025 was conducted on December 1, 2024. The CLAT PG result has been declared on December 7, 2024.
CLAT PG Merit List 2025 Dates
There will be five rounds of CLAT PG counselling 2025. Each round of counselling will start after the publication of the CLAT PG 2025 merit list. Given below are the dates on which CLAT PG merit list 2025 will be published.

Preparation of CLAT PG 2025 Merit List
The Consortium of NLUs prepares the merit list for CLAT PG 2025 based on the scores of the candidates in CLAT PG 2025 and NLU preferences. There are no qualifying marks in CLAT PG 2025. So, all candidates who have a valid score in the exam will be assigned a rank
Candidates are allowed to give NLU preferences in the order of choice during CLAT PG 2025 registration. A candidate will be included in the CLAT PG merit list 2025 of only that NLU which is part of the candidate’s preference list.
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks then the tiebreaker rule will be applied to rank the candidates in the CLAT PG 2025 allotment list. Given below is the tie-breaker rule for CLAT PG 2025

Factors Determining the Preparation of CLAT PG Merit List
The preparation of CLAT PG 2025 allotment list is influenced by the following factors:
Candidates score
NLU preferences filled by the candidate
Category of the candidate
Age/Seniority of the candidate
What After Publication of CLAT PG 2025 Merit List?
Candidates who obtain CLAT 2025 seat allotment are required to complete certain formalities to gain admission in the allotted NLU. The candidates have to select one among freeze, float or exit options. Further, the allotted candidates who choose the freeze or float option are required to pay a non-refundable confirmation fee of Rs 20000.
Freeze option: If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not want to participate anymore in the counselling process, then they can choose the freeze option.
Float: If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seat or did not get their first preferred NLU, they can choose the float option to be considered for further rounds of admission.
Exit: If candidates do not want to participate in the counselling rounds and want to exit the admission process can choose the exit option.
The confirmation fee will be adjusted against the university fee payable by the candidate at the time of admission. Candidates who choose the freeze or float option during the fourth or fifth round of CLAT 2025 counselling, are also required to pay the balance university fee along with the confirmation fee.
CLAT PG Cut Off 2025
The CLAT PG 2025 cut off will be available through the CLAT PG 2025 merit list. The CLAT LLM cut off 2025 is the rank of the last candidate included in the merit list from a particular category. The cut off for CLAT PG 2025 will be available for each round of counselling. The cut off details will be updated here when the CLAT PG merit list 2025 is released.

With an All India Rank (AIR) of 3722 and OBC rank of 573 in CLAT PG, you have a good possibility of getting admission to TRICHY NLU or other NLUs, although the probability depends on the cutoff trends for that year. According to past trends, TRICHY NLU's cutoff rank for OBC candidates would vary, but your rank is competitive enough to find a seat in the latter rounds of counseling, likely Round 2 or 3.
The cutoffs for NLUs like NLU Odisha, NLU Lucknow, and NLU Jodhpur may also be in your reach. Since cutoffs are always changing, keep an eye on the updates of official counseling. Depending on seat availability, given your rank, you might get a seat in these NLUs during the later rounds. With a clat rank of 3204 and in 2025 in the general category. If you want to secure a seat in a top NLU, IT might be difficult. In the clat exam, it is not considered a good rank. With this rank it is difficult to get any NLUs for you. Candidates must score roughly around 70% marks to get into NLUs.
