Questions related to GGSIPU Delhi

Have a question related to GGSIPU Delhi ?

Hello student,

It might cause a minor issue if the name in your online application does not exactly match the documents you submitted. Usually, such mismatches are questioned during the document verification process at the time of admission or counselling. To avoid trouble, it's best to prepare an affidavit stating that both names refer to the same person your mother. You can get this affidavit made through a local notary. Also, keep any supporting documents where your mother's full name is written like Aadhaar card or any school document. If possible, inform the IPU authorities or NIMCET helpdesk in advance and ask for clarification. It's always better to be proactive.

Good luck with your admission!

Hello aspirant,

With a CLAT AIR of 34122, and your OBC category rank (6670) along with Delhi domicile, you’re definitely within a reasonable range. University School of Law and Legal Studies (ULLS) at IPU Main Campus is quite competitive, but there are still higher rounds to go spot round, sliding, and sometimes even a management quota seat. Since you have Delhi domicile and you're in OBC category, your chances might improve in subsequent rounds if some students withdraw or don’t confirm their seats.

It’s great that you’ve kept your preference clear for ULLS. Keep checking the official IPU counselling site regularly and make sure you participate in all further rounds. Also, don't forget to check the cutoff trends of previous years, they’ll give you a clearer idea.

Wishing you all the best!

Hello!

f you have freezed your B.Tech CST seat in the third round of GGSIPU counselling  it means you have accepted the allotted seat and confirmed that you do not want to participate in further rounds of regular counselling. However yes you can still participate in spot round but to participate in spot round you have to leave your alloted seat that means you will lose your current seat. Then you have to pay fresh fees again for the spot round seat.

Also No upgradation is guaranteed in spot round so if you are 100% sure that you can get a better seat and you are ready to take the risk than you can go for it.

Dear candidate ,
With a 667 rank in IPU CET , you have a strong chance at top colleges like USICT , MAIT , and VIPS .
If you did not get a seat in Round 2 , it could be due to :
- Not filling sufficient or correct college preferences.
- Seat availability being limited in early rounds .

Hello Siddhi

Could you please tell your course in the comment section of this answer. After that I could really tell why you didn't get a college even in 2nd round.

Moreover, there are two main reasons of net getting a college in counselling:

1. Low Rank
2. Bad Choice Filling/Preference

Please specify the course and I will help further.

Thank You!!!
