Each year, the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) announces the detailed KSLU eligibility criteria of law programmes offered by its law school and the law colleges in its admission notification. Candidates looking to apply for KSLU Admission 2026 must meet the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The law programmes offered by Karnataka State Law University, Hubli and its affiliated law schools include a 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM.

The KSLU 2026 eligibility criteria is different for each level of law programme. Candidates can select the law programme based on their eligibility and interest. In addition to meeting the KSLU Law eligibility criteria 2026, candidates from any state other than Karnataka are required to produce the eligibility certificate. Admission to KSLU-affiliated law colleges will be offered on the basis of merit, marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. Applicants who have passed qualifying from outside Karnataka or from a foreign country, need to mandatorily obtain Eligibility Certificate before taking admission. Such candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam under CBSE, New Delhi, aren’t required to obtain the eligibility certificate for admission to 5-year integrated law courses.
The candidate can apply for the certificate to the office of KSLU, Hubballi, through post or in person in the prescribed format by paying the applicable fee. The application must be accompanied by attested documents of 10th, 12th, or Degree, as may be applicable and transcripts issued by the relevant department or university.
The Eligibility Certificate will be issued by the KSLU Academic section, Hubballi.
The qualifying degree certificates should be in Kannada or English only.
Original documents countersigned will also have to be produced for the certification.

Admission officials release the application form of KSLU admission in online and offline modes. Candidates who meet the KSLU eligibility criteria 2026 for their chosen program may duly fill and submit the application form before the last date. It may be noted that admission to law programs through KSLU 2026 will be based on the merit of the qualifying exam; no separate entrance exam will be conducted.
The application form of KSLU 2026 will be available in both online and offline modes.
To fill the form in offline mode, the candidate may download it online from the application portal and get a printout. Alternatively, applications can also be obtained from the university office on payment of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 by SC/ST candidates).
If the form is downloaded online, then the demand draft of fee payment has to be attached to the form when sending it by post.
