Each year the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) announces the detailed KSLU eligibility criteria of law programmes offered by its law school and the law colleges in its admission notification. Candidates looking to apply for KSLU Admission 2025 must meet the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. KSLU Eligibility Criteria

The KSLU 2025 eligibility criteria is different for each level of law programme. Candidates can select the law programme based on their eligibility and interest. In addition to meeting the KSLU Law eligibility criteria 2025, candidates from any state other than Karnataka are required to produce the eligibility certificate. Admission to KSLU-affiliated law colleges will be offered on the basis of merit, marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. KSLU Eligibility certificate

Applicants who have passed qualifying from outside Karnataka or from a foreign country, need to mandatorily obtain Eligibility Certificate before taking admission. Such candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam under CBSE, New Delhi, aren’t required to obtain the eligibility certificate for admission to 5-year integrated law courses.

How to obtain an Eligibility Certificate

  1. The candidate can apply for the certificate to the office of KSLU, Hubballi, through post or in person in the prescribed format by paying the applicable fee. The application must be accompanied by attested documents of 10th, 12th, or Degree, as may be applicable and transcripts issued by the relevant department or university.

  2. The Eligibility Certificate will be issued by the KSLU Academic section, Hubballi.

  3. The qualifying degree certificates should be in Kannada or English only.

  4. Original documents countersigned will also have to be produced for the certification.

KSLU 2025 Application form

Admission officials release the application form of KSLU admission in online and offline modes. Candidates who meet the KSLU eligibility criteria 2025 for their chosen program may duly fill and submit the application form before the last date. It may be noted that admission to law programs through KSLU 2025 will be based on the merit of the qualifying exam; no separate entrance exam will be conducted.

How to fill the application form of KSLU 2025

  1. The application form of KSLU 2025 will be available in both online and offline modes.

  2. To fill the form in offline mode, the candidate may download it online from the application portal and get a printout. Alternatively, applications can also be obtained from the university office on payment of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 by SC/ST candidates).

  3. If the form is downloaded online, then the demand draft of fee payment has to be attached to the form when sending it by post.

If you belong to to reserved category scheduled caste or Scheduled tribe then you are eligible for admission in Karnataka State Law University. But if you belong to general category then it is not possible for you to take admission. This is because the most basic eligibility criteria (for general category) state that you must have completed your graduation from a recognised University and with at least 45% marks in the aggregate. But if you belong to reserved category the minimum required score is 40% marks in aggregate.

KSLU Hubli offers LL.B, B.A LL.B, B.B.A LL.B, B.A LL.B Hons, B.B.A LL.B Hons, LL.M, LL.D, PG Diploma degree & the admission can be based on 12th board marks or entrance exam. The admission will be on merit basis which means that during the counselling process, the admission will be based on the merit of the students appearing for the counselling process.

For example: If a student gets 95 & you have got 93 then obviously the students who has more marks or more merit gets the seat.
