Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) has released the KSLU 2025 application form for the 5-year LLB on April 29, 2025. Interested candidates can download the KSLU application form 2025 from the official website - kslu.karnataka.gov.in. The deadline to submit the KSLU 5-year LLB application form is May 30, 2025. The application form can also be obtained from the university's law school at Navanagar, Hubballi by paying the prescribed application fee through a DD in favour of Finance Officer, KLSU, Hubballi. Based on previous year trends, candidates can expect the KSLU 2025 application form for the 3-year LLB programme is expected to be released soon.

If the form is being filled in offline mode, collect it first from the Office of the Karnataka State Law University’s Law School, Navanagar, Hubballi-580 025, on payment of Rs. 1000 (or Rs. 500 in case of SC/ST candidates) in the form of a challan or DD drawn in favor of The Finance Officer, KSLU, Hubballi.
Another way to obtain the KSLU application form 2025 is to download it directly from the official portal www.kslu.ac.in. After downloading the form, get a printout. Candidates must note that for downloaded applications, they need to furnish an application fee of Rs. 1000/- (for SC/ST and Cat-I Rs.500/-) through DD drawn in favor of the Director, KSLU’s Law School, Navanagar, Hubballi- 580025.
Online applications simply need to go to the online application portal, get registered, fill the form, and pay the fee.
Offline applicants need to duly fill the form, just like their online counterparts. The candidate has to next attach all necessary documents, and finally submit the form at the institute.

Such applicants who have passed the prescribed qualifying from outside Karnataka must submit an Eligibility Certificate along with the application form.
Please note that if the candidate has passed the 10+2 exam under CBSE, New Delhi, they are not required to submit an eligibility certificate for admission to 5-year integrated law courses.
Applicants may apply for the eligibility certificate at the office of KSLU, Hubballi, through post or in person; the applicable fee has also to be paid alongside the application form. Documents to be attached with the application include attested documents of 10th, 12th, or Degree.
The Eligibility Certificate will be issued by KSLU Academic section, Hubballi.
The qualifying degree certificates submitted by the applicant must be in Kannada or English only.
Original countersigned documents also have to be produced.

Depending on whether the candidate is applying for admission to 5-year integrated law or 3-year LLB courses, the candidate has to carefully go through the KSLU 2025 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria include requirements pertaining to exam passed, minimum marks in qualifying exam, and also age criteria. Further, candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from outside Karnataka also need to furnish an Eligibility Certificate as explained above.

Any applicant who has passed qualifying exam from outside Karnataka needs to submit the Eligibility Certificate.
If you belong to to reserved category scheduled caste or Scheduled tribe then you are eligible for admission in Karnataka State Law University. But if you belong to general category then it is not possible for you to take admission. This is because the most basic eligibility criteria (for general category) state that you must have completed your graduation from a recognised University and with at least 45% marks in the aggregate. But if you belong to reserved category the minimum required score is 40% marks in aggregate.

the eligibility criteria of LLB is passed graduation in any discipline securing 45% aggregate, in case of reserved categories there is relaxation of 5%, admission to three years LLB is strictly based on the merit of the qualifying examination,

KSLU Hubli offers LL.B, B.A LL.B, B.B.A LL.B, B.A LL.B Hons, B.B.A LL.B Hons, LL.M, LL.D, PG Diploma degree & the admission can be based on 12th board marks or entrance exam. The admission will be on merit basis which means that during the counselling process, the admission will be based on the merit of the students appearing for the counselling process.
For example: If a student gets 95 & you have got 93 then obviously the students who has more marks or more merit gets the seat.
