Will one of the exams be rescheduled or students have to make a tough choice?

CLAT and AILET exams are crucial ones for law aspirants given the fact that they provide admissions to the best law schools of the country. Undergraduate law aspirants mostly appear for both the exams. NLU Delhi is the second ranked law school in India which makes the AILET exam also very important. With the clash of both the exam dates, students might have to make a difficult decision of choosing one from the both exams. However, chances of this happening are very unlikely given the importance of both the exams. One of the both exams is very likely to be rescheduled. Candidates can also request both the conducting body over email to consider rescheduling of the exams.

CLAT and AILET registrations begin on August 1

The application window of both CLAT 2026 and AILET 2026 will open on August 1, 2025. The CLAT 2026 registration window will remain open for a period of three months. Interested candidates can apply for CLAT 2026 till October 31, 2025. The AILET 2026 application last date has not been notified yet. The CLAT 2026 registration fee for general category is Rs 4000 and Rs 3500 for SC, ST and BPL candidates. Meanwhile, the AILET 2026 registration fee is Rs 3500 for General, OBC and EWS categories, and Rs 1500 for SC, ST and PwD categories.

Hello,

To check your CLAT exam hall ticket, go to the official website, log in with your registration or application number and password (or other login details), and the admit card will be displayed on the screen. You should then download and print at least two copies of the admit card for the exam and counselling process.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Hello,

Yes, you can prepare for CLAT through self-study. Many students do it and score well. But self-study works only if you are disciplined and follow a proper plan.

Here are a few points to keep in mind:

1. Know the syllabus and pattern.
Understand each section: English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quant.

2. Make a fixed timetable.
Study a little every day. Consistency matters more than long hours.

3. Use good books and online sources.
Choose reliable material so you don’t waste time.

4. Practice a lot.
Solve mock tests and previous papers regularly. This is the most important part of CLAT prep.

5. Analyse your mistakes.
Check where you go wrong and improve those areas.

6. Stay updated with current affairs.
Read daily news or monthly current affairs PDFs.

If you can follow these steps honestly, self-study is enough. If you feel stuck or need guidance with strategy, you can always use online classes or doubt-clearing support.

Hope it helps !
