The Consortium of NLUs will notify the number of candidates who appeared for CLAT PG 2026 after the exam. Previous year, around 75,000 candidates registered for CLAT, which is the highest number of registrations received for the exam. Through the Common Law Admission Test PG, candidates will be admitted into the LLM programmes of participating NLUs and affiliated colleges. The exact number of candidates for CLAT PG 2026 is not yet known. Based on previous years' trends, it is expected that around 14,000 to 15,000 candidates will appear for the CLAT PG 2026 exam. Among the total candidates who register for CLAT, roughly 20% apply for CLAT PG. As per this estimate, around 16000 candidates are expected to appear for CLAT PG 2026 this year. For CLAT PG 2026, if you aim for top NLUs like NALSAR, NLSIU and WBNUJS, a score of around 75+ marks (rank within 100 ) is generally good for the general category
Cut-offs change every year, so try to score as high as possible for a better chance.
