KSLU Admission 2020 - Karnataka State Law University will start the KSLU 2020 admission process tentatively from the fourth week of April 2020. There will be no entrance exam as the admissions through KSLU are now being offered strictly on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam. Every year, Karnataka State Law University, Hubli invites applications for admission to UG/PG law courses such as 3-year LLB, 5-year integrated LLB, LLM. Candidates are offered admission to the KSLU University and all other affiliated colleges of law.

The university has prescribed the eligibility criteria for appearing in KUSLU 2020. Only those candidates who fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria will be able to apply through the KSLU 2020 admission application form.

Age limit - Following the Supreme court order regarding maximum age limit, there will be no age limit to appear in KSLU 2020.
The conducting body will release the KSLU 2020 eligibility certificate in both online and offline modes. The eligibility certificates will be issued by KSLU Academic Section at Hubbali for all such candidates who have completed qualifying exam from outside Karnataka. It should be noted that candidates belonging to the states other than Karnataka must obtain the eligibility certificate of KSLU 2020, before applying for admission. While applying for eligibility certificates, candidates will also have to pay the requisite fee of around Rs. 2000.
Candidates who obtained qualifying certificates from CBSE Board, New Delhi are exempted from eligibility certificate for admission to 5-year integrated law programme.
Candidates will be able to apply for KSLU 2020 through an application form, which will be available at the university website from around the fourth week of April 2020. All the eligible candidates will have to download KSLU application form 2020 and take the printout.
Applicants will have to submit duly filled application form of KSLU 2020 along with prescribed documents at the university. Candidates will be required to fill their personal details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, category etc along with educational details and law college name in KSLU application form. It should be noted that incompletely filled application form will be subject to rejection.
While submitting the application admission form of KSLU 2020, candidates must attach attested copies of the following documents along with the application form.
Date of birth certificate (SSLC/HSLC certificates)
Degree qualification examination marks card.
Caste and Income certificate.
Eligibility certificate, if needed.
Migration certificate, if needed.
Study permission letter from employer, if applicable.
Disability certificate in case of candidates belonging to PH.
Kannada medium study certificate (1-10th) if reservation is claimed under Gadinadu/HoranaduKannadiga quota.

Karnataka State Law University will prepare the merit list of KSLU 2020 based on marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying exam. The KSLU merit list 2020 will be category-specific and determined separately for the various law courses. Candidates included in the merit list would be called for counselling and seat allotment. It must, however, be noted that simple inclusion in the merit list doesn’t guarantee the candidate a seat, as there are other formalities to be completed like document verification.
Admission authorities will determine the KSLU cutoff for all participating colleges. The KSLU cut-off will be the last rank which will be considered for KSLU admission. Candidates coming under the cut-off list will get the admission in the college for which they are applying. KSLU cutoff 2020 would depend on a host of factors like number of applications received for admission, seat intake, and performance of candidates in the qualifying exam. If any of these parameters change, the KSLU cut off would also automatically change.
The authorities will conduct KSLU 2020 counselling in offline mode. Candidates whose name featured in KSLU merit list will be issued the call letters for appearing in the counselling. KSLU 2020 counselling will include the steps mentioned below.
Registration for counselling - Candidates shortlisted through KSLU merit list will have to report for counselling and register their name at the venue.
Document verification - The counselling process generally includes document verification. Candidates will have to carry their original and photocopy of all the documents as prescribed by the authorities.
The allotment of seats will be as per the merit of the candidate which higher ranked candidates to be given preference during the KSLU 2020 seat allotment process.
