Careers360: Tell us something about yourself. (a bit of the background like graduation, place and any such thing)
Khushboo Sharma: I'm Khushboo Sharma, a third-year BBA LLB Honours student at Geeta Institute of Law. I am from Panipat. I'm passionate about understanding the intersection of business and law, and I’m gaining practical knowledge and skills to build a strong foundation for my future career.
Careers360: Tell us something about your GIL campus and what made you choose it?
Khushboo Sharma: I'm studying at Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, which has a strong reputation for its BBA LLB program. I choose it for its excellent curriculum, practical learning approach, and experienced faculty. The campus has modern infrastructure and a supportive community, making it an ideal place to learn and grow.
Careers360: What is the course you are pursuing at GIL and what made you choose this specialisation?
Khushboo Sharma: I'm currently pursuing BBA LLB Honours at Geeta Institute of Law. I choose this course because I'm interested in understanding the intersection of business and law. The integrated program offers a comprehensive understanding of both fields, from corporate law to business management.
Careers360: Summer internship is mandatory in all GIL campuses. Where did you pursue it and what was the duration? What were the steps to get into it?
Khushboo Sharma: Summer internships are indeed a valuable part of the learning experience at Geeta Institute of Law. For my summer internship, I pursued it at Nyaya Sarthak organisation under the guidance of Advocate Manik Goyal, Supreme Court of IndiKhushboo Sharma: The duration was for one Month. Firstly, I applied to this internship with the help of the internship and placement cell of Geeta institute of law. I prepared my CV, got reviewed by the cell faculty, then a mock interview was taken by the faculty itself to ensure my final selection. On receiving confirmation from the concerned organisation, I finally got this internship.
Careers360: Please give details on the assistance you received from the faculty, peers and placement office with regard to the internships?
Khushboo Sharma: To get into the summer internship, I got guidance from the internship and placement cell of Geeta institute of Law, the committee guided me throughout the whole process, several events such as Manthan organised by the same cell, helped me in grooming my skills.
Careers360: How was your experience with the summer internships? What are the key takeaways that you can look back on from it?
Khushboo Sharma: The internship provided me with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world scenarios, which was invaluable for my learning and growth. I gained experience in drafting and legal case research, and preparing case briefs. The key takeaways from my internship include developing my analytical and research skills, understanding the practical application of legal concepts, and learning to work efficiently under deadlines. It also helped me build a network of professionals and gave me valuable insights into the field of law.
