The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the application form of CUET LLB 2026 tentatively in the first week of January 2026. The CUET PG 2026 will be held tentatively in March 2026. Through CUET LLB 2026, candidates will be able to take admissions into 3-year LLB courses of various central, state and private universities. The subject code of CUET LLB 2026 is COQP11 question paper in the CUET PG exam. Candidates who have a valid score in CUET LLB 2026 will be able to apply to participating central, state, and private universities. The prescribed exam pattern as per the code includes four sections, namely language/verbal ability, general knowledge, computer basics, and logical reasoning. The National Testing Agency (NTA) prescribes the eligibility criteria for CUET LLB 2026. To be eligible for CUET LLB 2026, a candidate must be a graduate in any stream to appear for the CUET LLB 2026. Candidates appearing for their final year graduation exams are also eligible to apply. It does not specify any age limit or other criteria for the exam. However, candidates are also advised to check with individual colleges in which they wish to apply to ensure they fulfil the eligibility requirements.

The CUET PG LLB 2026 syllabus covers four sections, namely English comprehension, general knowledge/awareness, computer basics, and general aptitude and logical reasoning. This is as per the syllabus prescribed by NTA for COQP11 papers (general papers), which is also the CUET LLB code.

The CUET PG LLB question paper follows Pattern 3, which is prescribed by NTA for general papers. As per the prescribed CUET LLB 2026 exam pattern, there will be a total of 75 MCQ questions spread across four sections, namely language comprehension, general awareness, computer basics, and general aptitude and logical reasoning. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

NTA will issue the CUET LLB admit card a week before the exam. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website by entering their application number and date of birth. The authorities will also release the detailed exam instructions for CUET PG law exams on its official website - exams.ntaonline.in/CUET-PG/. All the candidates must follow the exam instructions. Candidates will be able to download the admit card of CUET LLB 2026 from the official website through their login. The CUET LLB admit card 2026 contains details regarding exam date, timings, reporting time, exam centre details, and exam instructions. As the admit card is a mandatory document to be carried for the CUET LLB 2026, candidates are required to take a printout of the same and carry it to the exam hall. In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the admit card, candidates must get in touch with the authorities to make necessary corrections.
NTA will release the CUET LLB 2026 answer key on its official website approximately a month after the exam. Candidates can access the answer key of CUET LLB 2026 on the official website through their login. The answer key will enable candidates to calculate their probable marks in the exam by comparing their answers with the key. Candidates also get the opportunity to raise objections against the published key within a particular time window.
NTA will declare the CUET LLB 2026 result in online mode tentatively in the second week of May 2026. Candidates can log in with their credentials on the exam portal to access their scorecards. The CUET scorecard for LLB 2026 contains details such as the roll no. of the candidate, application no, total marks obtained by the candidate, and subject-wise marks. NTA doesn’t publish the merit list or conduct centralised counselling for law admissions. Instead, candidates have to separately apply to individual colleges that accept CUET LLB 2026 scores.
Once the CUET LLB 2026 results are declared, the participating colleges will release the cutoffs and merit lists based on the CUET LLB exam. The CUET participating universities and colleges will conduct their counselling process separately. It must be noted that students need to apply for admission separately. Students will be shortlisted for admission based on their scores in the CUET LLB exam. Candidates can apply to more than one participating college for admission.
