Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (GNDU Amritsar) has published the Punjab Law Admissions second round allotment 2025 on July 24, 2025. Along with the allotment, the institute has also published the Punjab Law Admissions cutoff 2025. Earlier, the authorities published the second round GNDU 5-year LLB final merit list on July 21, 2025 at its official website -punjablawadmissions.gndu.ac.in. The university will publish the third round GNDU 5-year LLB provisional merit list 2025 on July 30 on its official website - punjablawadmissions.gndu.ac.in. After considering the discrepancies, it will publish the GNDU 5-year LLB final merit list for third round on August 1, 2025. Earlier, it published the first round GNDU 5-year LLB seat allotment list 2025 on July 8, 2025 on its official website. The direct link to the merit list is provided below.

The GNDU 3-year LLB application form is also open till Aug 6, 2025. GNDU Amritsar offers law admission without entrance exams. The university will conduct Punjab law admissions 2025 to LLB (3 Years) and B.A.LLB (5 Years) through State Level Counselling. Candidates will be admitted into 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes of the university and its affiliated colleges. Punjab Law Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

All the participating colleges in Punjab Law Admission 2025 have different criteria for BA LLB, and three-year LLB courses. Candidates must have passed 10+2 to be eligible for admissions into 5-year LLB. The minimum educational qualification for 3-year LLB is graduation in any stream. Punjab Law Admission Application Form 2025

Candidates interested in law admission in Punjab will be required to fill in the Punjab law admission application form for GNDU from the official website. The university opened the GNDU 5-year LLB application form from May 6 to June 24, 2025. It has opened the GNDU 3-year LLB application form from May 19, 2025 to Aug 6, 2025 in online mode on its official website. The authorities will not accept any forms through post or physical mode. Candidates can participate in the counselling process only if they have filled out their application form.

Steps to fill Punjab Law Admission Form 2025

  1. Sign Up: Click on the ‘new registration’ link on the official website and enter basic details like Name, Father Name, Course, Mobile Number, E-Mail ID etc. and Security Key. Click on the submit button and note down your Deposit ID and password for login.

  2. Deposit Registration Fee: Click on ‘Candidate Login’ link and enter your deposit id and password to log in. Next, click on ‘Student Area’ where candidates can find the basic details they entered and important links like payment. Click on "Deposit Registration Fee" and make payment using your preferred option.

  3. Upload Photo and Signature: After payment of registration fee candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature.

Punjab Law Admission 2025 Reservation Criteria

Reservation of seats in Punjab Law admission 2025 will be as per the policy of the Punjab Government applicable at the time of admission. A total of 85% of seats in all colleges will be reserved for candidates of the state Punjab. Candidates from other states will be eligible for the remaining 15% seats. Candidates claiming reservation must present the relevant documents at the time of document verification.

Punjab Law Admission Counselling 2025

The second GNDU 5-year LLB final merit list was published on July 21, 2025. GNDU conducts the Punjab Law admission counselling process in online mode. Candidates can participate in the counselling process of Punjab Law GNDU admission through their candidate login. Applicants are required to enter their deposit ID and password to start the choice-filling process. In the Punjab law admission choice filling process, candidates are required to fill in their college and program choices. Students are given admission based on the Punjab Law Admission 2025 merit list.

There will be a total of three rounds of Punjab law admission counselling 2025. During the counselling process, candidates also have the option to shift their seats. Candidates who have already been allotted in their first choice institute and course are not required to participate in the further rounds of Punjab law counselling. However, such candidates who still want to participate in the counselling process will be required to pay a shifting fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates) to participate in the next rounds of counselling.

Punjab Law Admission Cutoff 2025

The GNDU Law cutoff 2025 will be released separately for three-year and five-year law courses after each round of counselling. Guru Nanak Dev University publishes the cut-off and seat allotment together after each round of counselling for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. Candidates who have scored more than the required cut-off allotted by GNDU are eligible for admission.
