Candidates interested in law admission in Punjab will be required to fill in the Punjab law admission application form for GNDU. The university will open the application form tentatively in May 2025 for admissions into 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. The Punjab Law Admission 2025 application form will be released in online mode. The authorities will not accept any forms through post or physical mode. Candidates can participate in the counselling process only if they have filled out their application form.

Reservation of seats in Punjab Law admission 2025 will be as per the policy of the Punjab Government applicable at the time of admission. A total of 85% of seats in all colleges will be reserved for candidates of the state punjab. Candidates from other states will be eligible for the remaining 15% seats. Candidates claiming reservation must present the relevant documents at the time of document verification.

GNDU will conduct the Punjab Law admission counselling process in online mode. Candidates can participate in the counselling process of Punjab Law GNDU admission through their candidate login. Applicants will be required to enter their deposit ID and password to start the choice-filling process. In the Punjab law admission choice filling process, candidates will be required to fill in their college and program choices. Students will be given admission based on the Punjab Law Admission 2025 merit list. The merit list for admissions will be based on the marks of candidates in the qualifying examination.
There will be a total of three rounds of Punjab law admission counselling 2025. During the counselling process, candidates also have the option to shift their seats. Candidates who have already got allotment in their first choice institute and course are not required to participate in the further rounds of Punjab law counselling. However, such candidates who still want to participate in the counselling process will be required to pay a shifting fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates) to participate in the next rounds of counselling.
The GNDU Law cutoff 2025 will be released separately for three-year and five-year law courses after each round of counselling. Guru Nanak Dev University publishes the cut-off and seat allotment together after each round of counselling for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. Candidates who have scored more than the required cut-off allotted by GNDU are eligible for admission.
