What after CLAT PG Seat Allotment 2026?
Once candidates have been allotted a seat, they may exercise the freeze, float or exit option. The details of each option are given below:
Freeze: If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat, they can choose “freeze” option to confirm their seat. The candidates must also pay the confirmation fee of Rs. 20000. Float: A candidate who is not satisfied with the allotted seat or a candidate who did not get the top preference seat can choose the “Float” option. Such candidates will be considered for seat allotment in the subsequent rounds of CLAT PG counselling 2026. The candidates must also pay a confirmation fee of Rs. 20000. The confirmation fee will be adjusted against the university fee.
Exit: A candidate can also choose to exit the process if they wish to do so. In such a case, the counselling registration fee will be refunded to the candidate in full. If a candidate chooses to exit the counselling process after exercising the freeze or float option, then Rs. 5000 will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded.

It is good to see institutions like NMIMS have selected you for master of law based on your CLAT PG scores. If we compare the three then to be very clear:
NMIMS Mumbai has strong reputation for it's Kirti Mehra School of Law and has got good academic value.
Nirma University is also another good after NMIMS, and has strong reputation for law studies in Gujarat.
The DNLU is comparatively newer than the other two and it will take some time to be equivalent to them.
For the best academic value and recognition choose NMIMS, or the Nirma University is also good. The DNLU is newer and can be considered as well but if we choose any one, then it is NMIMS.
