Candidates planning to apply for the CUSAT LLB entrance exam should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for CUSAT CAT Law 2026. The university conducts two separate entrance exams for admission into 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses and lays down the eligibility criteria for each one.
CUSAT offers three five-year integrated law courses: the BBA LLB, B.Com LLB, and B.Sc Computer Science LLB. The following is the eligibility criteria for the CUSAT LLB entrance exam for admission into these courses.
A candidate who seeks admission to the course shall have cleared the 12th grade with the minimum prescribed marks.
The minimum percentage requirement in class 12 for students from science groups is 60%.
Students from arts, commerce or humanities should have a minimum percentage of 55% in their class 12 examinations.
The relaxation in the minimum pass marks for candidates from SC/ST /SEBC categories will be decided by CUSAT through its orders from time to time.
Students studying in their 12th grade can also apply, provided they submit their qualifying certificate with the minimum prescribed marks at the time of admission
The minimum and maximum age limit (if any) for appearing for the exam will be as per the orders issued by the university from time to time.

Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in the aggregate in any stream from a recognised university
A relaxation of 5% is provided to SC / ST / SEBC candidates in the minimum aggregate marks required in their qualifying degree.
Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply on the condition that they submit the qualifying certificate at the time of admission, failing which their admission will be revoked.
