The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a revised CUET BA LLB syllabus 2025 on its official website. In the revised syllabus of CUET BA LLB 2025, the legal studies paper which was the domain-specific subject for law has been removed. Instead, a General Aptitude Test has replaced the legal studies subject. Now, candidates will have two subjects in CUET BA LLB 2025, a language section and a General Aptitude Test. Some universities also require the candidates to appear for a domain-specific subject such as Political Science, Economics and so on which they must check with the individual university to which they wish to apply. In this article, get complete details about the revised CUET UG law syllabus, exam pattern, and more.
NTA will conduct the CUET law exam as part of the CUET UG exam being conducted between May 8 to June 1, 2025. Candidates will be admitted into the 5-year LLB programmes of the participating CUET BA LLB colleges 2025.
As outlined earlier in the article, the syllabus of CUET BA LLB 2025 will have two papers - language and general aptitude test. Candidates may also have to appear for domain-specific subjects in case a university specifies it in its eligibility criteria.
In the language paper, candidates have 13 language options to choose from. The remaining languages and foreign languages have been replaced by the general aptitude test. However, candidates must ensure to opt for the language which is accepted by the university in which they wish to apply.
