CUET BA LLB Exam Pattern 2026: NTA prescribes the CUET BA LLB 2026 exam pattern in its information bulletin published on its official website. The exam pattern of CUET BA LLB informs the candidates about the marking scheme, sections, relevant topics, number of questions and duration of the exam. In the CUET BA LLB NTA has removed the legal studies syllabus. Instead, candidates have to appear for a General Aptitude Test paper. It will have sections on GK and Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and General Science and Environment Literacy. NTA has also removed Section 1 B in the languages section which included the foreign languages from the CUET UG law exam. Additionally, candidates may have to appear for a domain-specific subject

Section 1 (Language) - In this section, candidates have 13 language options. They can choose any language out of these. However, they must ensure they choose the language which is acceptable to the university in which they wish to apply. The complete list of languages can be found in the table below.

Section 2 (General Aptitude Test): 50 questions spread across five sections on GK and Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and General Science and Environment Literacy
NTA will conduct CUET Law exam in multiple shifts per day and the duration of the exams within each shift and among shifts, is independent of each other and is likely to vary. The sections are non-navigational and candidates have to attempt each section independently. It’s important to note that candidates get 60 minutes per paper.

Legal studies has been removed form the CUET BA LLB 2026 exam pattern and instead it now has the General Aptitude Test.
Candidates are allowed to choose up to 5 subjects for the CUET UG entrance examination. The exam format is in the form of multiple-choice questions with negative marking for incorrect answers.
