KSLU Admission 2026 - Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus & Pattern
Karnataka State Law University is expected to open the KSLU 5-year LLB application form 2026 in the fourth week of April 2026. The last date to apply for KSLU 5-year LLB admission 2026 will be notified soon. The KSLU application form 2026 will be available for download through the website - kslu.karnataka.gov.in and in offline mode. The university will release the complete KSLU admission 2026 schedule for 3-year LLB on its official website soon. The university will begin the admission process for the KSLU 5-year LLB programme in its affiliated colleges before proceeding with the KSLU 3-year LLB programme.

KSLU LLB 2026 admissions will be conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes at its law campus and various affiliated colleges. It must be noted that KSLU conducts law admissions without entrance exams based on marks obtained in the qualifying exams. Admission to Karnataka State Law University and its affiliated law school participating in the admission process will be conducted based on merit. Karnataka State Law University offers 5-year integrated BA LLB, BBA LLB, 3-year LLB, and LLM programmes. KSLU 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The university specifies the eligibility criteria for KSLU admission 2026 in its admission notification. Only those candidates who fulfil the KSLU 2026 eligibility criteria will be considered for admission. The eligibility criteria of KSLU 2026 is different for different courses. The detailed KSLU 2026 eligibility criteria are given below:

KSLU Eligibility Criteria 2026 - Age Limit
Candidates must not be older than 20 years to be eligible for KSLU BA LLB 2026 admission. SC and ST candidates get a relaxation of 2 years, which means the age limit for them is 22 years.
Candidates must not be older than 30 years to be eligible for KSLU LLB 2026 admission. SC and ST candidates get a relaxation of 5 years, which means the age limit for them is 35 years.
KSLU 2026 Admission Form
Karnataka State Law University releases the KSLU 2026 application form for the 5-year LLB on its official website. Interested candidates can download the KSLU application form 2026 from the official website - kslu.karnataka.gov.in. The deadline to submit the KSLU 5-year LLB application form will be announced soon. Next, candidates will be required to duly fill the application form and attach all the prescribed documents along with the KSLU admission form 2026. The admission form and documents shall be submitted to the university within the given time. The list of documents required along the KSLU LLB application form 2026 are given below.
KSLU 2026 Admission Form - Documents Required
Date of birth certificate (SSLC/HSLC certificates)
Degree qualification examination marks card.
Caste and Income certificate.
Eligibility certificate, if needed.

Study permission letter from employer, if applicable.
Reservation certificate
Disability certificate in case of candidates belonging to PH.
Kannada medium study certificate (1-10th) if the reservation is claimed under Gadinadu/Horanadu Kannadiga quota.
KSLU Admission 2026 - Reservation Criteria
Admission to LLB courses at KSLU 2026 will be given according to the KSLU 2026 reservation criteria. The reservation policy of KSLU admission 2026 is specified by the Government of Karnataka. The detailed KSLU reservation criteria 2026 have been given below:

KSLU Merit List 2026
There is no entrance exam and the university will prepare a KSLU 2026 merit list to conduct the admission process of KSLU and its affiliated colleges. The merit list of KSLU will be prepared based on the applicant's scores in the qualifying examination. The KSLU 2026 merit list will be prepared for different categories and courses separately. Candidates whose names are included in the merit list of KSLU 2026 will be eligible to appear in the counselling process. However, one important thing that candidates must note is that the merit list of KSLU 2026 is provisional. It is not a guarantee of admission. Candidates have to complete the admission formalities to complete their admission.
KSLU Cut-off 2026
KSLU cut-off 2026 will be released for all the participating colleges. Candidates who meet the KSLU BA LLB cutoff 2026 will be eligible for admission in BA LLB courses. Similarly, candidates who meet the KSLU LLB cutoff 2026 will be considered for admission in LLB courses. The cutoff of KSLU 2026 admission will be based on many factors like total number of applicants who applied for admission, number of seats available, the reservation criteria etc. The cutoff details shall be updated here once the university releases the KSLU 2026 cutoff.
KSLU Counselling 2026
The university will conduct the counselling process of KSLU BA LLB, LLB and LLM admissions 2026 in offline mode. Candidates will be required to physically report to the counselling venue to participate in the KSLU 2026 counselling. The detailed steps to participate in KSLU counselling 2026 have been given below:
- KSLU Counselling Registration 2026: The very first step to get admission through KSLU LLB admissions 2026 is registering for the counselling process. Candidates will be required to report at the counselling venue and fill out their registration form.
- Document Verification: Next, candidates whose names have been shortlisted in the KSLU admission 2026 merit list shall present all the required documents physically at the counselling venue.
- Seat Allotment: Candidates who have successfully completed document verification will be allotted seats on the basis of their preference and their merit rank.
