AIBE 19 exam Clashes with CLAT 2025

The Consortium of NLUs will conduct CLAT 2025 on December 1, 2024. According to the revised schedule of AIBE 19, the All India Bar Examination will also be conducted on December 1. Many students who have completed their LLB degree or are currently in their final year of LLB also appear for CLAT PG exam in pursuit of higher studies in the field of law. The CLAT exam is a gateway to get admission to LLM courses in the prestigious National Law Universities. If the situation remains the same, candidates will have to choose from AIBE 19 and CLAT PG exam.

Will the AIBE 19 exam be postponed?

There are very high chances that the AIBE 19 might get postponed. The CLAT exam is very unlikely to be postponed. The Consortium of NLUs plans the CLAT exam in a manner that exam date changes cannot be accommodated. However, it has been noticed that the BCI postponed the AIBE exam date and extended the registration deadline at least twice or thrice. The chances of the AIBE 19 exam being postponed again are very high. The AIBE 19 exam date is likely to be conducted in the second or third week of December 2024.

Do AIBE students also appear for the CLAT exam?

The CLAT PG exam is an entrance exam to get admission to LLM courses in the different participating NLUs. Not just the NLUs, many other colleges all over the country accept CLAT scores for PG admissions. Apart from the higher education aspect, the CLAT PG exam is used for recruitment purposes in Public Sector Undertakings. Talking about PSUs recruitment through CLAT, PGCIL, TNPC, THDC, IOCL, BHEL, ONGC, OIL etc use CLAT PG scores for recruitment of candidates.

What does AIBE 19 postponement mean for students?

In case the AIBE 19 exam gets postponed again, candidates will get extra time for preparation. On the contrary, it will also delay the enrollment process of candidates as advocates in their state bar councils. For candidates who wish to appear for both CLAT PG and AIBE 19 exam, the postponement of the exam can be good news as they can focus on CLAT PG exam and then dedicate the remaining time to AIBE 19 preparation.

AIBE 19 Registration window extended

Apart from postponing the AIBE 19 exam, BCI has also extended the deadline to register for the All India Bar Examination. Earlier, the AIBE 19 registration 2024 was scheduled to close on October 25, 2024. However, candidates have been given an extra time of 3 days and now they can complete their registration till October 28, 2024. Candidates who have already registered can make their AIBE 19 registration payments till October 29, 2024. AIBE 19 application correction can be completed till October 30, 2024.

Hello dear candidate,

the previous year question papers and last ten years question paper for AIBE exam is given in the link given below:-

I hope you find this helpful.

Thank you.

Whether or not signing your full name instead of your signature on the AIBE 19 answer booklet's self-declaration form would result in disqualification is uncertain. It depends on the specific rules and regulations of the AIBE examination and how strictly they are enforced, you can also check the official website or contact the concerned authorities.

Hello,

If you forgot to mention the booklet code in your AIBE 2024 application, follow these steps:

  1. Check for Edit Option : Log in to the AIBE portal and verify if there is an option to edit or update your application details.
  2. Contact Helpdesk : Reach out to the AIBE helpline or email support to explain the issue and request assistance for correcting the booklet code.
  3. Documentation : Keep a copy of your application form and any communication for future reference.
  4. Stay Updated : Monitor the official AIBE website for any updates or instructions regarding this issue.

Act promptly to avoid complications.

Hope it helps !

If you forgot to mention your booklet set code and other details on your AIBE 2024 exam OMR sheet while filling the rest of the information correctly, your exam may not be evaluated properly, and you could potentially face a delay in your results or even have your exam invalidated; however, there might still be a chance to rectify the situation.

Since AIBE exam is OMR based paper and is checked by using a specialized scanner called an "OMR scanner" which reads the darkened bubbles on the sheet, interpreting them as answers, and then comparing them to the answer key to generate a score - essentially, the machine "reads" the marks made on the paper to determine the correct answers, all through a process called Optical Mark Recognition (OMR). If it doesn't recognise your booklet code there are chances that it could not process your answer on code basis.

Reach out to the Bar Council of India (BCI) as soon as possible through their official website or helpline number. Explain the situation clearly, mentioning that you filled in all the details correctly except for the booklet set code and other missing information.

If possible, try to attach a scanned copy of your OMR sheet where you can highlight the correctly filled details and the missing booklet set code.

Hope it is helpful to you!!!

Hi Anirudh,

Using a whitener in the AIBE 19 exam (All India Bar Examination) is generally not allowed, as per the examination guidelines. However, if you used it in just one question and the rest of your answer sheet complies with the rules, the likelihood of outright rejection may be lower, but it ultimately depends on the discretion of the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Wait for Official Notification, Check your result once it is released, If the BCI invalidates your paper, they will usually notify you.

In some cases, minor infractions like using a whitener in a single question may not lead to disqualification, provided the rest of the answer sheet adheres to the rules. However, the final decision rests with the BCI.

Stay calm and wait for the official result or response from the authorities. Mistakes happen, and the best approach is to address them responsibly.

Best Wishes!
