The Bar Council of India (BCI) has closed the AIBE 20 application process. The AIBE 20 exam will be held on November 30, 2025. The authorities announced the AIBE 20 exam dates on its official website - allindiabarexamination.com. Earlier, the official AIBE 20 notification was released on September 26, 2025. The AIBE 20 notification 2025 includes important details such as the AIBE 20 exam date, complete AIBE 20 schedule, AIBE 20 exam date and other important details. On March 21, BCI declared the AIBE 19 result, and the conclusion of the exam is in its final stages. Fresh law graduates and candidates who did not clear the All India Bar Exam may be waiting for the schedule to be notified for AIBE 20. Law graduates and final-year law students without any backlogs who aspire to become advocates must appear for and clear AIBE 20 to obtain the Certificate of Practice and represent clients in a court of law.
The Bar Council of India conducts the bar exam once a year. The trends for the last two sessions show that the AIBE exam date is usually in December. The exam schedule for earlier years appears erratic due to the global pandemic during that period. The bar exam did not take place in 2020. As per the revised AIBE eligibility criteria notified by BCI, law graduates who have completed a 3-year LLB or a 5-year LLB, and final year law students without any backlogs are eligible to apply for the bar exam.
Candidates who have not enrolled with a State Bar Council are also eligible to register for AIBE. However, such candidates will have to submit the certificate later so that their AIBE result is not withheld.
Candidates who have appeared for earlier sessions but failed to clear the exam can also apply, as there is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for AIBE.
The Bar Council of India closed the AIBE 20 application form on October 31, 2025. Before appearing for the AIBE 20 exam, candidates are required to fill out the AIBE 20 application form. To complete the application form, candidates must meet the AIBE 20 eligibility criteria. Candidates interested in appearing for the AIBE 20 exam could submit their application form on or before the AIBE 20 application form last date. The final step in the application process of AIBE 20 is the payment of the application fee.
Candidates must log in to their account to pay the AIBE registration fee. The application fee must be paid online using a credit card/debit card/net banking.

The Bar Council of India will issue the AIBE 20 admit card 2025 on November 15, 2025. The AIBE XX (20) admit card 2025 will be available for download at allindiabarexamination.com in online mode. The admit card of AIBE 20 includes the details like date and time of the exam, the name of the exam centre, the complete address of the exam centre and other important instructions. The detailed information to download the AIBE admit card 2025 is mentioned below.
The Bar Council of India will release the AIBE 20 answer key on its official website: allindiabarexamination.com. The authorities will release the AIBE 20 provisional answer key a few days after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key through an objection window. After considering the valid objections raised by candidates, BCI will release the AIBE 20 final answer key.
The AIBE 20 results will be declared in online mode, tentatively one to two months after the conclusion of the exam. The AIBE 20 result includes the scores secured by them in the entrance exam. Furthermore, the AIBE 20 result will show the qualifying status of the candidate in the exam. Candidates who qualify the AIBE 20 exam will be issued the AIBE Certificate of Practice, which is a mandatory certificate to practice law in Indian courts.

The AIBE(All India Bar Examination) is conducted only for law graduate students to get a certificate for Practice to practice law in court in India. This exam is conducted in offline mode, including 100 multiple-choice questions and has no negative marking. Students need to score at least 45 out of 100 questions and 40 for SC/ST candidates.
