AIBE XXI (21) COP Dispatch Status: Check details
The Bar Council of India has announced the dispatch status of the AIBE XXI (21) Certificate of Practice (CoP). According to the latest notification, only enrolled candidates who passed the AIBE 21 exam and uploaded their enrolment certificates before July 30, 2026, can collect their certificates. The AIBE XXI CoP acts as a permanent license that grants advocates the legal authority to practice law in courts across India. The BCI has already processed, printed, and dispatched the AIBE XXI CoPs; candidates who meet the criteria must contact their respective State Bar Councils to collect or check the status of their AIBE CoP.
However, those candidates who uploaded their enrolment certificates after July 30, 2026, will be included in the second round of AIBE CoP processing and dispatch. The last date to submit the enrolment certificates for the second round is September 30, 2026.

How to Obtain AIBE 21 CoP?
Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to obtain an AIBE 21 CoP:
Candidates must appear for the AIBE 21 exam.
They must qualify the exam by achieving a minimum score of 42.75 for General and OBC candidates and 38 for SC, ST and PWD candidates.
BCI will dispatch the AIBE 21 CoP for qualified candidates to the State Bar Council.
Qualified candidates can then track the status of their CoP through the AIBESCOPE application.
Once the CoP is received at the State Council, candidates can collect the physical copies

Hey there,
No. If you are currently in the 5th semester of a 3-year LL.B., you generally cannot register for AIBE yet.
Under the current BCI rules, a 3-year LL.B. student must be in the final semester (6th semester) and have no backlogs from previous semesters to register for AIBE.
