The syllabus for both examinations is comparable. However, the distinction lies in the exam pattern and complexity level. Given that the CLAT exam encompasses admissions into a broader spectrum of national law universities, it tends to be marginally more challenging than the MH CET Law, which focuses on law schools in the state of Maharashtra. The MH CET Law examination syllabus also depends on the course the student is choosing, i.e., the 5 year course or the 3 year course. Consequently, the CLAT exam attracts a larger candidate pool.
