The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has published the MH CET 5-year LLB 2026 Round 3 final merit list on September 16, 2026. The merit list was released on the official CAP portal, llb5cap26.mahacet.org. The merit list is published separately for Maharashtra State (MS), Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Jammu & Kashmir (J&K), and Ex-servicemen candidates. The MH CET 5-year LLB seat allotment will be released on September 18. Earlier, the CET Cell released the 3-year LLB Round 1 seat allotment on August 19 and the 5-year LLB Round 1 allotment on August 18, based on merit, preferences, category, and seat availability.

The MH CET Law merit list is prepared based on the normalised CET score. The MH CET LLB merit list 2026 is released separately for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. The State CET Cell releases the MH CET Law alphabetical merit list before publishing the final merit list for each CAP round. Candidates can use the alphabetical list to verify their application details and raise grievances, if any. The State CET Cell adopts a tie-breaking methodology to decide ranks in case two or more candidates have the same normalised CET score. The candidates are given preference in the merit list, keeping in mind the following factors.
Candidates with higher marks in their Class 12 will be given preference.
Candidates’ marks in the First Language Examination (Marathi Board) will be given preference over other board students.
Marks of the best five subjects will be considered for students who have completed their Class 12 from the CBSE/ICSE board.
Candidates with higher marks in their graduation will be given higher ranks.
Candidates’ marks in their higher secondary will also be given preference in the tie-breaking procedure.
The MH CET LLB 2026 counselling is conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) in online mode. The MH CET Law CAP 2026 will be conducted in three rounds. The MH CET 3-year LLB 2026 seat allotment is released on August 19, 2026. The CET Cell will conduct the counselling separately for the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes. Meanwhile, the CET 5-year law 2026 first-round seat allotment results were published on August 18, 2026. The detailed CAP schedule, including choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting dates, has been notified. Candidates whose names appear in the final merit list are eligible to participate in the MH Law CAP counselling process 2026.
