Candidates should note that fulfilment of IPU CET law eligibility criteria 2019 does not guarantee admissions to candidates into the university. Instead, candidates complying with the eligibility criteria will only be considered for the different rounds involved in the admission process like entrance examination and counselling. Furthermore, admissions of candidates who qualify for the counselling will be subject to their fulfilment of IPU CET law 2019 eligibility criteria. If at this stage, candidates are found to be eligible, their prospective admissions into the university will be cancelled.

Academic qualifications - Candidates should have passed their 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with at least an aggregate of 50%. They should have also have a pass in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
Age limit - As per the orders of the Supreme Court, there is no age limit for candidates who wish to apply for the course.
Academic requirements - As mandated by the Bar Council of India, candidates require an LLB Degree for enrollment as an advocate or an equivalent law degree from a foreign university. The minimum aggregate scored by the candidates should be 50%.
Age limit - As per the orders of the Supreme Court, there is no age limit for candidates who want to apply for law programmes.
As per the orders of the BCI, candidates who have completed their 10+2/graduation/post graduation through open universities system without any basic qualification for prosecuting such students will not be eligible for law courses.
SC/ST/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/Persons with disability categories will be provided with a relaxation of 5% in the minimum eligibility requirement pertaining to marks in the qualifying examination.
It is the responsibility of candidates to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the course they are applying for. If at any stage, be it during the admission process or during the academic session, candidates are found to be not complying with the eligibility criteria of IPU CET law 2019, their admissions and admission fee will be forfeited. Also, they will be subject to serious punishment.
There is no provision for rounding off of percentage of marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. For example, if a candidate has obtained 59.99% in the qualifying examination, his/her percentage will not be rounded off to 60% for deciding their eligibility.
Candidates should note that there is no age limit to apply for law programmes including BA/BBA LLB and LLM.

A. Yes. It is important for candidates to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the course the law programme they are applying for. IPU admit cards for BA/BBA LLB was said to be released by April last, but there is no such link on the official site as of yet. You can directly contact via email/call the college authorities regarding the same. Also, IPU CET for LLB wont be conducted this year. Students will be admitted on the basis of their CLAT score.
You will not have to fill the form of IPU CET the university has decided to admit students into its undergraduate law programmes on the basis of CLAT scores instead of IPU CET law 2019.Candidates will get access to the application forms online mode. After filling the form successfully, candidates will be issued admit cards. After the exam of CLAT, the results will be announced. The candidates with their name on the merit list will be then called for the counseling procedure.
