CEE Kerala has started the KLEE 3-year LLB vacant seat allotment 2026 process for admission to government and private self-financing law colleges. The vacant seat allotment covers 23 colleges, including four government law colleges and 19 private self-financing law colleges. Candidates included in the KLEE 3-year LLB 2026 rank list can register fresh options for the vacant seat allotment from September 14 to 18, 2026. The allotment and institution joining dates will be announced later.

The steps to register fresh options for the KLEE 3-year LLB vacant seat allotment 2026 are given below:
Visit the official CEE Kerala website at cee.kerala.gov.in.
Open the KLEE 3-year LLB 2026 candidate portal and log in using the candidate’s credentials.
Select the option for vacant seat allotment and register fresh college options.
Select the colleges that candidates are willing to take admission in, in the order of preference.
Pay the applicable vacant seat option registration fee online.
Submit and confirm the registered options before September 18, 2026, 10 AM.
Keep a copy of the submitted options and fee payment confirmation for future reference
Candidates who have their name in the KLEE rank list 2026 for 3-year LLB and meet the eligibility criteria can register fresh options. They can register their fresh college options through the CEE Kerala 3-year LLB candidate portal, cee.kerala.gov.in/llb32026. The option registration window is open till September 18, 2026, 10 AM.
Candidates who have already secured admission through KLEE counselling round 1 or 2 can also participate. However, they should understand the consequences of getting a new allotment. If they receive a seat in the vacant seat allotment, their existing admission will be cancelled, and they will have to accept the new allotment.

KLEE 2026 candidates who do not receive an allotment will get the registration fee refunded after completion of the allotment process. However, the fee will not be refunded if a candidate receives an allotment but fails to join. It will also be treated as a penalty if a candidate quits the allotted seat after taking admission.
CEE Kerala has specified the following rules for the vacant seat allotment:
If no seat is allotted, the candidate's existing admission, if any, will continue.
If a new seat is allotted, the existing admission will stand cancelled.
Probable vacancies arising from upgradation or category conversion may also be filled in this round.
Seats allotted through the vacant seat allotment cannot be changed.
Candidates receiving an allotment in this round will not be eligible for subsequent allotments.
Candidates with an existing admission should select only colleges where they are willing to study.
Vacancies remaining after this round may be filled through one or more stray vacancy allotments.
Candidates admitted through previous phases of the CEE Kerala allotment can avail free exit from the course until September 17, 2026, 5 PM. Candidates who vacate their seats or obtain a transfer certificate after this deadline will be liable for a penalty.
