NIRF Law College Ranking 2024: The Ministry of Education released the National Institutional Framework Ranking (NIRF) 2024 for law schools on August 12, 2024. NLSIU Bengaluru is the top law college as per NIRF law rankings 2024. NLU Delhi comes at the second position in the NIRF law rankings 2024. NALSAR Hyderabad and WBNUJS Kolkata have been ranked at the third and fourth position respectively. The top five law colleges as per NIRF rankings have seen one change from last year. SLS Pune has climbed at the fifth position from the sixth rank last year. In all 40 colleges find a place in the NIRF law rankings. There are 25 government law colleges in NIRF law rankings. Among them 16 are National Law Universities. There are 15 private law colleges in NIRF law rankings.
The NIRF ranking of law collegs is widely recognized in India and is based on multiple ranking parameters. These parameters are grouped into five broad categories - Teaching, Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach and Inclusivity and Perception. The NIRF law rankings 2024 list has listed out the top 39 colleges in India decided on the basis of NIRF points earned by the collegeon the parameters listed above.
