SLAT 2025 Exam Syllabus

The SLAT 2025 exam syllabus consists of five sections, each containing 12 questions worth 1 mark each. There is no negative marking. The sections are:

  1. English Language: Word Usage, Vocabulary, Grammar, Inference-based Questions, Synonyms, Antonyms, Foreign Words/Phrases, Para Jumbles, Sentence Improvement, Analogies, Tenses.

  2. General Knowledge/Current Affairs: International Events, History, UN Bodies, Economics, Sports, Geopolitics, Environmental Agreements, Current Affairs, Eminent Personalities, and Awards.

  3. Logical Reasoning: Assertion Reason, Logical Consistency, Statement & Assumptions, Arguments, Conclusions, Course of Action, Inference, Cause & Effect, Data Arrangement, Directions, Coding-Decoding.

  4. Legal Reasoning: Constitution of India, Contract Law, Law of Torts, Criminal Law, Family Law, International Law, Landmark Judgements, Legal Provisions, Legal Terms, and Intellectual Property Rights.

  5. Analytical Reasoning (Quantitative Aptitude): Basic Mathematical Operations, Numerical Data Patterns, Percentages, Ratios, Profit & Loss.
