Preparation Tips For SLAT 2026 Slot 2 Exam

Please check the preparation tips given below for the SLAT 2026 Slot 2 exam. The given preparation tips are completely based on the SLAT 2026 Slot 1 exam analysis and the types of questions that were asked.

Since there is no negative grading, try every question.

Leaving questions unanswered can lower your final score because SLAT does not deduct points for wrong replies. Intelligent guessing, particularly in GK and Logical Reasoning, can greatly increase your final score even if you are dubious.

Pay attention to high-frequency Topics of Logical Reasoning

Seating arrangements, direction sense, blood ties, coding-decoding, and series were among the often-evaluated topics that were clearly trending in Slot 1. If practised correctly, these subjects are predictable and scoreable. Since syllogisms weren't requested, don't spend too much effort on them.

Boost the application of principles and facts in legal reasoning

The questions on legal reasoning were simple and focused on applying specific legal ideas to real-world scenarios. Focus on comprehending ideas from the Law of Torts, Contracts, Constitution, and fundamental procedural law and practice application-based questions, rather than learning legal maxims by heart.

    Boost Analytical Reasoning computation speed

Questions on time, speed, and distance were simple to moderate, but the calculations took more time. You can solve timed problems, shortcuts, and approximation strategies more swiftly and calmly on the test if you practice them.

Consider English as a component for scoring.

Grammar, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, and passage-based questions made up the majority of the English section. Since the majority of the answers are taken directly from the passage, high accuracy can be achieved with little effort by carefully reading and using basic grammar.

Review current events from the last six to eight months.

GK paid close attention to current affairs, including international summits, athletic competitions, honours, and environmental concerns. Prioritising recent news over in-depth historical facts will produce better results because static GK was restricted.

    Practice taking Mock Test exams.

Candidates must practice a full-length SLAT Mock Test with a strict timer because they only have one minute for each question. This aids in increasing speed, pinpointing areas of weakness, and cultivating the habit of making decisions quickly.

Don't make the question paper too complicated.

Slot 1 demonstrated that the majority of the questions were straightforward and uncomplicated. Simple inquiries that are overthought can result in errors and lost time. Make the most sensible decision and have faith in your preparedness.
