The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is currently accepting registrations for admission to various courses, including 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated LLB. The MH CET Law counselling is a multi-stage admission process, involving 189 colleges.

A total of 27,372 candidates appeared for the MH CET 5-year LLB. Of these, around 17,000 have registered for counselling. In the 3-year LLB course, 74,621 appeared in the exam, of which around 53,500 have registered for counselling.
The CET Cell is conducting scrutiny of the documents and approving the applications simultaneously. The scrutiny of documents will be conducted till July 22. After this, the authorities will prepare alphabetical lists for both courses and publish them on the website. The students will be given a chance to raise complaints/objections against this list, if any.
Once the merit list is revised, the facility for web options (choosing law colleges) will open for registered and qualified students. The web options exercise in this stage will remain valid throughout the counselling process. Allotment of seats will be based on the candidate’s category rank in MH CET Law 2025 and college preferences. The counselling is conducted in three to four rounds — vacant seats are published after each round. Towards the end of the counselling, an institutional round of counselling is held, allowing the law schools to fill the vacant seats at the institute level.
