    The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) signed an MoU with 10 affiliate non-NLUs to use CLAT 2027 scores for admissions. More law colleges are expected to be added soon. Lucknow University and DBS Global University are among the latest additions. The CLAT 2027 affiliated law colleges will not conduct admissions through the consortium’s centralised counselling process. Candidates will be required to apply to the affiliate colleges through their official admission portal using the CLAT 2027 scorecards.

    The Common Law Admissions Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. The consortium will conduct the CLAT 2027 on December 6, 2026. The CLAT scores are accepted at 26 NLUs, IIULER, and affiliated colleges.

    Several private law schools, including Aurobindo Institute of Law, Indore, BITS Law School, Mumbai, Galgotias University, Noida, SVKM’s NMIMS, Mumbai, and more, accept CLAT scores for law admissions. The consortium has approved only 10 affiliated law schools so far. Many more law colleges are expected to be added to the CLAT 2027 affiliated college list. The consortium approved more than 60 law schools last year.

    Candidates planning to get admitted to CLAT 2027 affiliated law schools must directly apply to the respective websites. The application schedule, eligibility criteria, merit list preparation, and seat allotment process may vary by institution. Affiliated law schools prepare their own merit lists based on the CLAT scores submitted during the application process. The seats are allotted based on the merit lists released by the law schools.

    i have to give clat 2027 but when my result came i got rt in additional subject but overall pass then i gave improvement exam and passed it and have 2 marksheet 1 containing 6 subject marks and written rt in additional subject and in second its just marks of maths am i eligible for nlu admissision

    For CLAT 2027 UG, candidates need to have passed Class 12/equivalent with at least 45% marks, or 40% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
