IPU CET Law Seat Allotment 2018 - Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has commenced with the process of IPU CET Law 2018 seat allotment on June 30, 2018. The university carries out a strategically planned procedure for seat allotment for IPU CET Law for admissions to various under-graduate law programmes. Candidates can select the college and course of their choice at the time of counselling. GGSIPU does the IPU CET Law seat allotment through a detailed counselling process conducted in both online and offline modes. The process of IPU CET Law 2018 seat allotment will go on during June-July since the admissions will close by July end. IPU CET Law was conducted offline on May 19, 2018 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. After the announcement of results, the university began with the process of counselling on June 14. This process of counselling has at most have three rounds wherein one round will be that of IPU CET Law seat allotment 2018. GGSIPU has laid down certain important instructions related to the counselling process according to which the seat allotment of IPU CET Law 2018 will be carried out. Details regarding the IPU CET Law seats reservation 2018 can be referred to as follows.
IPU CET Law Seat Allotment 2018 – Important Points
Candidates should keep in mind the important points related to IPU CET Law 2018 seat allotment mentioned below:
Candidates need to fill their college preference. The IPU CET Law seat allotment 2018 will be carried out only after the choices have been filled by the candidates.
Seats will be allotted based on the merit secured by the candidates as per the merit list of IPU CET Law 2018.
In order to be eligible for the seat allotment procedure, candidates should have paid the counselling fees along with registering themselves and filling in their choice of law institute.
Upon completion of the IPU CET Law 2018 seat allotment process, the list will be made available online.
A provisional seat allotment letter will be issued to the candidates who have been allotted seats in the colleges. Candidates must carry the print out of the same.
An academic fee of Rs. 40 thousand must be paid by the candidate to confirm the IPU CET Law 2018 seat allotted to them. Payment can be made in both online and offline mode. If candidates are unable to make the payment due to any reason, they will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling.
Candidates must carry all the required documents and be present in person in order to be considered for the allotment of seats.
The IPU CET Law cut off will decide the minimum marks required to qualify for the counselling or seat allotment process of IPU CET Law 2018.
Seats will be allotted for a maximum of three rounds, including the spot round.
IPU CET Law Seat Allotment 2018 - Important Documents
Upon receiving the provisional allotment letter from the University candidates must carry the following documents for verification purpose as officially prescribed:
Admit Card of IPU CET Law 2018 (original copy)
Printout of the Provisional Allotment Letter
Academic Fee Acknowledgement Receipt for the payment of Rs. 40 thousand.
Previous years’ mark sheets from 10th class to college, original copy of reserved category certificate, and 10th class certificate. One set of photocopies of all these documents must be attested by a gazetted officer.
For candidates having pursued open education or distance learning, a valid proof of the location of their study centre along with certificate from the University validating the location of the study centre must be produced by the candidate.
Original character certificate (not more than six months old) either from the Head of the institute last studied in or from a gazetted officer.
Undertaking in case the result of the qualifying exam is awaited.
A non-refundable counselling fees of Rs. 1000/- must be paid within the stipulated timeline by the candidates who have qualified in the IPU CET Law 2018.
IPU CET Law 2018 Seat Allotment - Seat Freezing
This is a process in which a candidate can finalise or freeze the seat allotted to them after each counselling round. Candidates can freeze their seat if they do not wish to participate in further rounds and are satisfied with the seat allotted. If this option is not availed in any round, a seat of higher preference as chosen by candidate will be allotted keeping in mind the availability of the same. In this case they will no longer have the option of retaining the previously allotted seat.
IPU CET Law Seat Allotment 2018 - Seat Withdrawal
This process gives candidates a chance to withdraw their admission against the allotted seat by following the prescribed process online. According to GGSIPU, once the allotted seat has been withdrawn by the candidate, they will no longer be eligible for further counselling procedures.
