    LNAT Syllabus for JGLS

The LNAT does not test law subjects. It evaluates skills required for legal education, such as reading comprehension, interpretation, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and writing skills. LNAT has two sections: the MCQ section and the essay writing section. JGLS does not require the essay writing section of the exam for law admissions.

Section A: Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) consists of argumentative passages followed by multiple-choice questions. Candidates are required to read each passage carefully and answer questions based on the information provided. The passages may cover a wide range of topics, but no prior knowledge of legal subjects is required.

    LNAT Result

Candidates are not required to submit their LNAT scores separately, as the university receives them automatically from the LNAT Consortium. The LNAT scores are sent around 24 hours after completing the exam. No LNAT result dates are released. Candidates will be able to check their LNAT scores twice a year. Those who appeared for the exam on or before January 26 will receive the LNAT scores on their email ID in mid-February. Candidates who took the exam after that will receive their results in mid-August.

    LNAT Cut-Off for JGLS

Candidates aiming to get into JGLS law programs must secure the minimum required score for admissions. The university will specify the LNAT cut-off for JGLS 2027 admissions. Based on the previous year’s LNAT cut-off, candidates might require a score between 20 and 25 out of 42 to get a seat at JGLS. The LNAT cut-off score also enables candidates to apply for the merit-based scholarship offered by JGLS.

    JGLS 2027 Scholarships

JGLS offers scholarships to candidates based on their LNAT scores. These scholarships are called merit-cum-means-based scholarships and are awarded in the range of 10%, 25%, and 50% of tuition fees. The percentage is decided based on merit through LNAT and annual parental income. Students securing 25+ marks in the LNAT test are eligible to receive scholarships if their annual parental income is less than INR 50 lakhs. The university will release a detailed notification on the 2027 scholarships on its official website.
