    The Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra (CET Cell Maharashtra) has released the list of documents required for MH CET Law 2025 counselling. The complete list of documents required for the counselling process of MH CET Law 2025 is available at the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org. The counselling registration for MH CET Law 2025 is currently underway, and the CET Cell has extended the registration window for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB until July 18, 2025. The E-Scrutiny date of uploaded documents and filled-in application forms by the E-verification team has also been extended till July 22, 2025. Some of the important documents needed during the counselling are the online CET application form, scorecard, degree mark sheets, domicile certificate, caste certificate and more.     The documents uploaded for MH CET Law counselling will be e-verified by the authorities while filling the counselling registration form. Only those candidates who clear the e-verification process will proceed to the next step. Through the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Law, candidates are admitted into 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes of participating colleges in Maharashtra.

    Documents Required for MH CET Law Counselling Registration 2025

    • Photograph Size Image: Passport size colour photograph. The size of the photo file should be between 20 KB and 50 KB. The image file should be in JPG or JPEG format

    • Signature Image: Applicant has to sign on white paper with a black or blue pen. Signature image size file should be between 10 KB to 20 KB. The image file should be in JPG or JPEG format.

    • The documents listed in the table below must be in PDF format size of up to 500 KB. The scanned uploaded documents must be readable, and if the uploaded documents are not readable, then such documents will not be considered valid.

    • Domicile certificate of the candidate from the state of Maharashtra

    or

    • Birth certificate mentioning the place of birth, which is in Maharashtra

    • School leaving certificate of the candidate indicating the place of birth in the state of Maharashtra.

    • Community, nativity and date of birth certificate

    Maharashtra State Type-B candidates

    • Domicile certificate of the candidate

    • Domicile certificate of the father or mother of the candidate indicating that he/she is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra

    Maharashtra State Type-C candidate

    Certificate from the employer in Pro forma-A stating that the father or mother of the candidate, who is a Central Government/ Government of India undertaking employee, is presently posted in/outside Maharashtra

    Maharashtra State Type-D candidate

    Certificate from the employer in Pro forma-B-1, stating that the father or mother of the candidate is a Maharashtra State Government or Maharashtra State Government undertaking employee

    or

    Undertaking along with documentary evidence from the retired employees stating the place of settlement in Proforma-B2

    Maharashtra state type-E candidates Maharashtra Karnataka disputed border area candidates

    • Certificate stating that the candidate belongs to the disputed border area in Pro forma-G1

    and

    • Certificate stating that the mother tongue of the Candidate is Marathi in Pro forma-G2

    Backward class candidates belonging to SC/ ST from the State of Maharashtra only

    • Caste certificate

    • Caste/tribe validity certificate

    Backward class candidates belonging to VJ/ DT/ NT(A)/ NT(B)/ NT(C)/ NT(D)/ OBC/ SBC/ SEBC from the state of Maharashtra only

    • Caste certificate

    • Caste/tribe validity certificate

    • Non-creamy layer certificate valid up to March 31, 2025

    Economically weaker section candidates, EWS from the state of Maharashtra only

    Ex-Servicemen (Def-1)

    • Defence service certificate Pro forma-C

    and

    • Domicile certificate of the father/mother who is an ex-serviceman, is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra

    Active domicile defence candidates (Def-2 )

    • Defence service certificate Pro forma-C

    and

    • Domicile certificate of Father/ Mother who is an active defence service person is domiciled in the state of Maharashtra

    Active non-domicile defence candidates (Def-3)

    • Defence service certificate Pro forma-C

    and

    • Certificate from the employer in the Pro forma-D stating that the father/ mother of the candidate who is an active defence service person presently posted in Maharashtra

    or

    • Certificate from the employer in the Proforma-E stating that the father/ mother of the candidate, who is an active defence service person and has retained the family in his previous place of posting in Maharashtra

    Person with Disability candidates (PWD)

    • PWD medical certificate issued by the civil surgeon of the District Hospital and or approved Medical Board / or the All India Institute established by the Central Government, Competent to certify the Disability

    and

    • Domicile Certificate of the candidate from the State of Maharashtra

    or

    • Birth Certificate mentioning the Place of Birth, which is in Maharashtra

    Or

    • School Leaving Certificate of the candidate indicating the place of birth in the state of Maharashtra

    Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidates

    • Certificate of posting in case of defence and Government servants in Pro forma-J

    or

    • Certificate of stay in refugee camp for those staying in the camp in Pro forma-K

    or

    • Certificate stating that the candidate belongs to displaced family in Pro forma-L

    Minority candidates

    • Domicile certificate of the candidate belonging to the State of Maharashtra

    • Declaration of the candidate for the respective linguistic/ religious minority community in Proforma “O”
