The admissions to law colleges in Madhya Pradesh is based on entrance exams as well as direct admissions. Admissions through Entrance Examination

The Indore Institute of Law accepts IILET scores for admissions, whereas Sage University Indore and Sanjeev Aggarwal Global Education University accept SEE exam for admission. CLAT: CLAT is one of the biggest law entrance exams in India. The exam is conducted every year for admissions to 24 participating National Law Universities in India. SEE: The SAGE Entrance Exam is a university-level examination conducted for admissions to SAGE University, Bhopal. Candidates can get admission to BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses through this entrance exam. The entrance exam has 80 questions and students are given time of 80 minutes to complete the exam. Apart from SAGE University, Sanjeev Aggarwal Global Educational University, Bhopal also accepts SEE scores for law admissions.

IILET: Indore Institute of Law conducts the Indore Institute of Law Entrance Test for admissions to BA LLB and BBA LLB courses at the institute. IILET is an offline entrance test conducted solely for law admissions at the Indore Institute of Law, Indore. Apart from the IILET exam, the institute also accepts CLAT and LSAT—India scores for admissions.

MP Online Admissions E-Pravesh 2024 - Direct Admissions

The Madhya Pradesh government carries out its own admission process for admission to law courses in government and private law colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The admission process is carried out by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The MP law admissions e-pravesh process is carried out on the basis of the marks secured by candidates in their qualifying examinations. The qualifying exam for 5-year LLB courses is Class 10+2. For the LLB course, the qualifying examination is graduation and for LLM marks of candidates in their LLB degree will be considered. Here is the detailed process for MP law Admissions 2024:

  1. Registration: To apply for MP law Admissions 2024, candidates will be required to log on to the official website of the Department of Higher Education: epravesh.mponline.gov.in. In the registration process candidates will be required to enter details like personal, educational and communication information. Candidates will also be required to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature. The final step of MP law admission application process is payment of the application fee.

  2. Uploading of important documents: Candidates will be required to upload their all educational documents, caste certificates, domicile certificates and other applicable documents in the specified format on the official MP law admissions e-portal.

  3. Choosing Course and University: Next, students will be required to opt for their preferred course and university. Candidates can also choose more than options according to their preference from the list of MP law admissions 2024 courses and universities.

  4. Document Verification: Candidates will be required to get all their documents verified in person at the MP e-pravesh centres. Students will be required to carry original copies of all the documents uploaded by them for verification. Students will be allowed to participate in further admission process only after verification of documents.

  5. Merit List and Seat Allotment: The MP Law admissions 2024 will be carried out on the basis of merit. The Department of Higher Education, MP Government will release a merit list based on the scores of candidates on the basis of their marks in qualifying examination, category etc. Students will then be allotted seats in MP law colleges according to their merit ranks, courses and university preferences.

  6. Payment of admission fee: Candidates who will be allotted seats will be required to download the MP Law admissions 2024 allotment letter from the online portal and pay the admission fee. The admission fee can be paid online as well as MP e-Pravesh kiosks. The further admission formalities will be done at the university or college the student has been admitted in.
