    NLIU Bhopal is a key target for law aspirants seeking admission to tier-1 NLUs through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). NLIU Bhopal was established in 1997 and is the third National Law University (NLU) in India after NLSIU Bengaluru and NALSAR Hyderabad. Admissions to 5-year LLB and LLM courses at NLIU Bhopal are done through the CLAT exam. Talking of recruiters, top law firms like SAM (Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas), CAM (Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas), Trilegal, and Khaitan & Co participate in the placement drives.     NLIU Bhopal Placement Report (2023–2025)

    In the last three years, NLIU Bhopal's placement report shows that in 2023, 108 students graduated; 10 did not participate in placements, and 60 were placed. That is around a 61% placement record with an Rs 18 LPA median package. In 2024, 120 students graduated, out of which 65 did not opt for placements; 45 students were placed, with an 82% placement percentage and a Rs 16 LPA median package. Next, in 2025, out of 113 students, 60 did not opt for placements, 48 got placed, and the placement percentage was 91%. The placement percentage data might look higher because placing 48 students gave them a 91% placement figure, since the college claims 60 students did not sit for placements.

    The NLIU Bhopal tuition fee is Rs 1,46,000 per annum. Combining all other fees, excluding hostel and mess, it comes to Rs 2,17,000 per annum. If you look at the total overall expense, it ranges between Rs 19 to Rs 21 Lakhs, as fees increase slightly every year. With a total fee of Rs 19–21 Lakhs and a median package between 16 and 18 LPA, the ROI is not too bad, but the placement numbers themselves are not very bright, and there are better NLUs available.
