Many students wonder what qualifies as the passing marks or what a good MH CET 5-year LLB 2026 score. It is important to note that the MH CET Law examination for the 5-year LLB does not have officially declared passing marks. Instead, it follows a merit-based ranking system where candidates are evaluated based on their score out of a total of 120 marks. There is no concept of passing or failing; rather, admission to MH CET 5-year LLB colleges is determined by whether a candidate’s score meets the cut-off set by the individual institutions during the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Typically, the top law colleges in Maharashtra, like GLC Mumbai and ILS Pune, have higher cut-offs, often ranging from 90+ marks or more. All those who achieve a non-zero MH CET Law score are eligible and have a fair chance to participate in the MH CET Law 5-year LLB counselling and further seat allotment process.
